Hi guys this is just a Kinda funny disscusion Thread What is the first car have you driven and Learned on driving on it ?

First car I drove was a Mk 4 Vauxhall Astra 1.6. I took driving lessons and my test in a diesel Vauxhall Corsa.

The first car I ever drove (around the back yard) was a 1990 Chevrolet Blazer. I was something like nine years old at the time. First time on the road was in a Ford Taurus for driver's training, before they switched me to a Chevrolet Cavalier.

The first car I drove wasn't actually a car. It was a 2007 F150 FX2 Sport, with the 5.4 3V pos. It's my mom's truck, but my grandma, who lives with us, has the same truck. It's white and has cloth seats instead of leather, though. I drive it as well.

Ford F150... crazy thing was, when I got into a actual car. I would steer like crazy. The difference from a car and truck is crazy D:! I was so used to using all that force in the truck. When I was driving the Dodge Magnum almost hit every curb.

Toyota Corona 2000 manual 1979, back when I was 13/14 years old, my old man guides me through the parking, shifting with clutch, then steep learning with heel toe and hill start :D Then I was told to do some figure of 8 while increasing speed to the point of losing traction and holding it - yeah my old man was a bit of speed freak, then making circles on a dirt road, yay, good times.

Something like this - mine was completely stock and dark brown.

2003 Ford F-150, I was sometimes allowed to sit in my Dad's lap and steer the Eurovan, but the truck was the first one in the drivers seat. 12 or 13 I think.

First car I drove was my 1988 Nissan Skyline, which was also the car I had for my learner's permit and Provisional 1 license.

I took lessons and my learner's test in 4 different vehicles: a 2006 Toyota Corolla Ascent, a 2008 Mazda2 Neo, a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES and the test car was a 2006 Kia Spectra.

Some of you guys have been lucky. I learned on a 1995 Saturn SL2, manual. Not a bad little car, actually, but not great.

I learned to drive in my mom's automatic Mini Cooper S in the parking lot of a nearby church early last year. I'm glad that I learned on a car that has heavy steering, it's made everything else I've driven feel like a breeze. If we're counting just steering though, then you could say the first car I've 'driven' is a neighbor's gold Infiniti Q45 when I was four. They still have that car.

You privileged jerkwads. I had my first few experiences of driving in one of these monsters.

2009 Toyota RAV4 - automatic. The first one I've actually driven, but only one time. And it was enough for me to dislike automatic gearboxes.
The one I was really learning driving in was Chevrolet Lacetti. And it was the first MT car I've driven.
P.S. Most of my friends were starting with Ladas. I was lucky. :D

Looked exactly like that, except it had a windshield visor, the mirrors from the 1995+ ones, and it was burgundy. 5 speed manual hooked up to a 5.7 through a 3 foot long shifter.

69 Mini Cooper, first time I drove it was on private property when I was.. jeeze I would have been 8?

Learning how to drive stick in that thing wasn't pleasant.. but we had gravel roads on the farm so I had plenty of room to practice on.

I think my step father still has it actually.. I should go and visit him and take it for a spin for nostalgia's sake.
