Basically, you go online and follow normal traffic rules like IRL, and follow a speed limit etc. You can run from the cops and if you get hit 3 times you pull over, and they give you a fake ticket. If you do it repeatedly, some rooms will kick you, others won't. Some rooms make up there own rules as they go.

I kinda like it , it makes a change if you get bored of racing.. try out cars you never did try out also lol..

Basically this. It's really stupid.

Unless there is a good host.. i agree, same with most rooms...

On good rooms you can have a blast! Really.

I played on a nice room once @ SSR7 and the cops were using fully tuned ZR-1s... it was damn hard to evade the pursuit. But I surprised them going at about 310kmh in my Toyota Caldina. :) Fast soccer-mom van :dopey:

I'm confused, you're telling me there are rooms of people who drive around following the speed limit? I'm guessing this is SSR7?

I've heard it all now.

Bigbazz

Kinda yes and no, its more of a game , like cops and robbers, childish i know but can be quite fun with a good host.
Toscana (tarmac)
Mt aso ect (street tracks).

SSR7 and custom tracks are very common. I enjoy just taking out my slower cars for a drive while participating in these events sometimes.

ahh...good times. i'm trollin' away in a pink bus, the feds unable to keep up in their cliche nissan gtr with pace car lights. the good times as in doing 180's and avoiding getting boxed in, ramming police off the side of the road, and peeding down the Muslanne going 120. good times. besides, i don't join in anymore. the feds ain't doin their job. they're either gone or too chicken:censored: to stand against the rebels who control things now.

I was just in a 70 mph cop server. Figured i'd try it out. after about 10 minutes of crusing the speed limit 2 'cops' started ramming the **** out of me. I told them i wasnt speeding, went unanswered

yeah, **** this lol

Same experience. I will pull over and still get rammed repeatedly.

They're just trying to make it more realistic...

Was it in Oakland? :D

it's just freerun with rules lol

I guess this idea was lifted from LFS where it actually counts for something, they have servers which give you money per mile/km you drive around abiding the rules and earn money the better cars in the game, pretty fun actually when you just want to chillout, but since GT5 hasnt got some system implemented, its kinda pointless.

The only way to get a good kick out of this is to find someone who does this in private lobbies only. If you go to a public lobby it's just a wreck with no cops, tons of Tank Cars, the odd FGT and just a bunch of general rammers around the whole place.

It looks like a NFS of some sort except the cops are people instead of brain dead A.I.

What is this I dont even

It's basically like a free roam mode (except that due to some extremely bad luck with construction work, a couple of accidents and a nuclear bomb threat downtown all intersections have been closed...).

It can be nice if you just want to relax, spend some quality time with your car, enjoy the scenery. Personally I'm not too happy about the wild car chases that occurs now and then, so I try to avoid those rooms.

Edit: Toscana (Tarmac) can be a really nice location for this, especially if the room owner is a good track designer.
