What is this GT5 V.I.P. Forum?

I see this on the list of forums on my phone and don't get what it is.

It's a GT5 forum for GTP Premium members only. It gives them a forum to discuss GT5, where before The Infield was the only place for premium members to hang out. To find out what actually goes on in there you have to go premium.

The GT5 V.I.P sub forum is made up of all the dicussions, races, photomode, comps, trade etc premium members were doing in the Infield, now it has been put into our own sub forum.

Because IMO it just seems to be common sense to hide forums from people who can't post in it.

Point achieved. But if people wanted to become Premium members, I'm sure they'd read the information thread first... In which you could write it...

I'm sure many of the thousands of new members who dive straight into the GT5 forum - often without even reading the rules to which they agreed in the process - are wholly unaware that there are other fora outside the GT5 forum, much less so a whole premium area.

The fact that people are even creating threads in the GT5 forum asking about this are quite a good sign that the decision not to hide it has been effective.

Maybe you should make it that instead of premium members only only people with 1000 posts or more can go into the V.I.P. forum........ so then it wouldn't be polluted with bad people like the regular forums (Just a suggestion)

I'm sure the Rumble Strip has features and threads comparable to the Infield, just without some of the folk lurking there.

I'm sure given time many members who find this site/ community to be a day to day thing will end up with a premium membership and access to the Infield. (Myself included when I can get my card details to work online, in fact, I'm going to try again now.)

If you pay for Premium, what do you get other than bigger pictures and more messages? Well you also get a members only area like any other club.
