I have noticed lots of rooms with only english only spanish etc etc
This morning i have even seen a room that was called "I hate asian's"

Now i am wondering what the hell is wrong with people are they so narrowminded now a days ?

One of the nice things about online racing is to meet people from other country's and talk to them about everything but what i see happening at the moment i do not like very much 👎👎👎

Sometimes people set up rooms just for people from their country as there is less chance of lag ruining races, others like to talk a lot so they want only people who can speak their language.

Then there are ones like the one you mentioned that are probably set up because they want an argument with a set group, just ignore the idiots who do that. Or if you are so bothered by it go into one and say you are Asian and ask why they don't like you and wait for them to abuse you and then report them.

I haven't seen any discrimination myself but I saw a couple rooms that said French speaking only.

Have seen some. Saw Aussie & NZ only. I'm Aussie but just ignored and went and raced someone else.

I was in a room last night, and there was 1 guy who had his mic on, for the full length of the free run he was calling everybody a ******....<<< (N-word) It lasted at least 15 minutes, and I really wondered where he got the energy from..

Checked his PSN, sent him a message, and I reported him, I hate retards.

Its ok to prevent Lag by staying in one country. Maybe also because of the chat. But Such rooms are named "please only german" or else.

However as soon as it gets racist or simmilar:
Please grief play them until they close such lobbys. ! Ty :)

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch. :D

It seems to be a sad fact of online gaming and the anonymity it offers. In every online game I've ever played someone (usually an American, sorry guys) will go off on a rant about blacks or gays. To be fair to GT5 I find COD much worse for this, I don't even bother with the headset on that game anymore as all the racism is just too depressing. :yuck:

Ya I've experienced such, and did start a thread about it sometime ago when it really pissed me off.

It's a shame people like these exist in these modern times

I can see why people want to be able to communicate with others (language preference), or want to avoid lag (location preference).

But some people astound me with what they say and do, it is unforgivable and a hard line should be taken by Sony, PSN and ISP's.

I know, right? They were some rooms that has unethical titles, like 69 or 420 or something similar. There's also people who gets frustrated because they lost. Like I was in a Ferrari F1 room and we were doing 7 laps around Suzuka. Of course, it was total strangers, so I had no idea who I was driving with, but they're seem to be tactical to racing. Anyway, while I was racing, I reached 1st place at around the 2nd lap, and then someone cursed me off and then left :O But I didn't care very much. Now I enter rooms that I hope to be raced ethically and civilly (no application towards fun rooms).

? what's unethical about the numbers?

Have to admit I don't mind restricting rooms to your location and/or spoken language. If I see a room entitled "I hate asian's" I would use that as a flashing warning sign to avoid this idiot.

They are just looking for an argument, and think they can fight everyone whilst hiding behind their keyboard.

I really think racism is a big problem in GT5 I've heard people say "kick the Chinese fool" and they kick me even before I enter I wish people will just stop discriminating

Very true.

I expect it on basically all online games. All you can really do is ignore the person(s), find another room, or kick them if you're the host.

Yesterday I entered a spanish room, and when I entered they started to tell something in Spanish saying my name and laughing. After 4 races where I owned them by a large margin, they started to play unfair against me, braking in front of me in the middle of straights to make me take a penalty, or pushing me out the track (we was playing with the reverse start based on the previous race results, so I started everytime in last position), just because I was too fast for them... I continued to play only because to win against these idiots is just awesome, they do all the dirty things to take you off and you still win, and they gets more angry...

Never ever give in to such cheap behaviour. Those are just dumb bi***es living in their own world, called bubble. Go get yourself normal rooms with normal people, of course from all over the world, ang set those races up 👍
Racing against anyone other from around the world is the best reason for me to be online.
Sure I still instant-kick anybody who´s entering my room and showing a**hole behaviour. Mostly you recognize this within 29 seconds or less...

See this, OP? /\ That is what it´s all about. Not caring about those idiotic manners just beat'em.

And we have a little boy saving our country by having his finger in a hole in the levy!

And I'm 300 lbs, can't turn right, everything I drive is a muscle car and have some sort weird relationship with a cousin. 👍

Now we can all get along.

I entered a room and discriminated against everyone else that were there and left.

They were blabbering german teens, one of the most annoying conversations I've ever listened to.

It's the internet.
People do whatever they wan't.

The most straight forward answer I could come up with.

Is that from Austin Powers?
I'm not sure why, but when I read that I started thinking about Austins father.
Just sounds familiar.

EDIT: Didn't mean for this to be in a second post.

Lst night im Uk and got kicked by all UK room before I raced and the night before id raced with the same room leader and kept beating them in a Nardo.
