Then you gonna hate the x1 because you have to drive that car accurately.there is no walk at the park when you drive that car.it got a quick turn in and it's planted but in a tricky way.

I actually have no complaints about the x1's handling except that it's way too damn fast. It's just not realistic at all. At least the f1 cars you actually have time to make adjustments if you're about to lose the car, but the x1 it's impossible. So yeah..I'd agree it's no walk at the park.

i like a bit of oversteer, i hate understeer with a passion though. For some strange reason i can easily control an f1 car (except fgt) without drivers aids except abs1, but i have problems doing the same with LMP's if they do not have tc on. Im also more of a downforce person instead of raw power but i usually only need it for LMP's and powerful GT cars.

f1 cars do not need driver's aids, in fact they don't even need ABS. They have so much downforce that they handle any corner with ease. They are far easier to drive than any other high powered car.

Your pretty close to my driving style but the le man cars is not a problem with me because I got a light foot

yeah at some point i made that assumption, i guess that adds to the fact that i like high down force cars, and if thats the case, what is the problem with the fgt? i know its not actually an f1 car but it is similar in terms of how i drive it, i just cant get enough grip out of it
 
I use slow in, fast out sometimes I feint drift which is kinda like slow in, fast out for drifting for me (:
 
I only race dirty. I don't care about racing clean because it just makes no sense to me. Why slow yourself to drive clean when you could go fast and have fun lol.

I love to drive with an oversteer because it's easier to turn without slowing down and you don't have to slow down as much if you actually have to.

hmm you have a destructive driving style hahaha, i do enjoy to do those things too but it isnt too good on gt5 since it is more of a game where you have to drive clean. I think your style would make you a force to be reckoned with in dirty nascar racing or nfs, but in other lobbies, it will be looked down upon

It makes sense to me because
A) clean racing is actually faster.

B) Clean racing doesn't make other people mad if you're online.
 
I'm fastest with a car that turns in very quickly and then with a flick of the steering and plenty of right foot gets the tail out slightly in a gentle power slide.

The turning in is key to get me a good time.
 
Sometimes, on some tracks, I turn off all the aids and change to Sports Hard tires just to drift XD
 
I'd say my driving style is fairly reserved and calm. I prefer to keep the car in control and balanced, although that's often not the quickest way. :dopey:

Also add that having a clean battle with someone where you keep trading places is a lot more fun than ramming them off the road. 👍

Roughly translated as "I can't race." Racing involves making legitimate attempts to overtake the car in front. Then, if you make the pass, holding your position and then pulling away if you can. What you're doing is time trialling with obstacles which you can just as easily do against the AI instead of pissing people off and ruining their enjoyment.

A balanced car is the fastest car. I'd stay offline if I were you. Have fun in your sandpit. 👍

Personally I like a little bit of understeer out of a car, as I tend to drive a little aggressively, (I'm not the best at keeping the tail under control in something that oversteers). I'm not usually online much because of this :P

Couldnt have said it better. The skill is all about making that clean pass.
 
I'm such a showoff :sly: My style is to hoon the 🤬 out of a car, sliding through corners backwards with all four tyres smoking :D Another of my 'tricks' is to handbrake-turn at full speed and do a reverse J-turn, flashing my lights at everyone behind me.

I like to think I'm fairly precise... many will disagree :lol:
 
When on ABS I was hard on entry and violent with breaks.
Now with ABS off I'm gentle with breaks and steer following the best lines possible.

Overall I prefer slight oversteer.
 
I like a bit of oversteer while still being stable. A car that turns in nice and can be easily pointed towards the apex. I really like the handling of cars like the Lotus Evora and Mazda RX-7. I suck at preserving tires and I'm usually progressive on throttle but sometimes a little direct. It may just be me or the way I like to drive but when I have a car with a lot of grip, both front and rear, the front tires always seem to wear a LOT faster than the rear.
 
I will admit that I am a pretty aggressive driver; hard on the gas, hard on the brakes and I generally power into corners and leave my tires screaming and smoking. I have to make a conscious effort to ease back on this during endurance races to preserve my tires. I prefer 4WD cars because of this, because they just seem to fit my driving style best with how grippy they are. The Audi R8 is easily my favorite car in the game, I own 4, one of which has more than 3,000 miles on it from brand new.

It has gotten me in trouble a couple times online, because I find myself accidentally bumping into the other player's cars quite a bit. I try my best to race clean, but with the way I throw my car around, accidents happen. There have even been a few times I have flat-out punted some drivers unintentionally; Each driver I have done that to I sent a tuned car to express my apologies. (Do you guys think that is fair enough on my part? I know how frustrating it can be when you get punted and it wrecks your race.)
 
Driving style? Drive like it's real and don't act like an idiot, as in drive smooth and be very calm with throttle input on exit.

I just give people room. When I have the opportunity to do something ambitious or agressive, I don't do it. From my experience, if you bump someone, they will get agitated and most likely bump you back. I value my long-term reputation over a spot on the podium.

You have to understand that people here enjoy clean racing. Its cool if you do what you do in a dirty room, but if you do that garbage kid stuff in a clean room you won't last long. It takes no skill whatsoever to punt someone off the track and take the position. I mean really, how good do you think you are hitting people off track and constantly being hit off yourself? Its stupid. Driving in the grass doesn't make you any faster.

If its over your head try "Mariokart"
