What Is Your Favorite ''Classic'' Car?

I don't know why I'm writing this thread anyways, I just want to see what would happen. Anyways, my response to this question, two of my favorites would be the Jensen Interceptor MkIII '74 (because it looks nice and it's fast, at least) and the Nissan Skyline Sport Coupe '62 (It looks nice, at least, but it's slow and expensive, but it has good handling). The car would have to be found in the ''Classics'' section of an automaker, though.
 
Mercury Cougar.

Fat man's Mustang, and it doesn't weigh much for a big-block car. (390 is an FE, which is a big block. FEs ARE, however, about 100lbs lighter than a 429/460)

Alpine A110 1600S '73. hangs out with 500bhp cars with ease.
 
I second the Alpines. Both of them - lots of fun. Try a standard A310 in the Alpine single make race at Trial Mountain. Probably the most fun I've had in any race shorter than 5 laps. The car can win it, too, if you keep it facing the right way!

Also the Alfa GTA - lovely balance.

Then, the Lotus Elan for racing. Perfect balance with great brakes, amazing grip and no handling vices make it the ideal endurance racer, and even when you modify it, it's still the same, just faster.
 
Could the Buick GNX be classed as classic? I love that car. If not I love the mk1 golf or the cuda!

The Honda S500 and the Plymouth Superbird.
 
Mine is the First and foremost the 1968 Mazda Cosmo Sport (L10B) beautiful handling, perfect balance, I love the way it looks too:drool: My other favs are the Alpine A110 I love the thrill of driving a sporty lightweight rear engined rear wheel drive sports car with the G25, Its styling is good as well.
I also love the 1969 Cheverolet Corvette Stingray L46 350 high power lightweight awesome handling typical of this American supercar and it is sexy. I have too much others but I'll stop here!:crazy:
 
Lord, with so many classics to choose, i'll never have a favorite! :indiff:
 
first of all it's anyway, not anyways, that's a common grammer error that sounds correct nowadays...

Anyway, whatever you consider old, mine would have to be the Toyota 7 :)
i never drive those old cars mostly because they are slow or they are unattractive.
 
I love all of the american classic muscle cars but lateley I've been driving my old comaro SS(I think its a '67 but I wasnt sure) so I guess that is my favorite.
 
Lotus Elan and Europa. Great handling, though the Europa has semi-unpretty lines.

The Alfa Coupe is about the prettiest little car in the game. It also happens to be quite fast.

The 2002--would have been nicer if they had gone with the stock body, but those flares make it look a bit "off".
 
Anyways, I like "anyways" better than "anyway".

Elan is definitely nice.
 
Also I've forgot two cars that I like to drive around, the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C1) '54 and the Alfa Romeo Giuilia Sprint Speciale '63. They may be quite slow, but they look pretty good and they're two of my favorites to drive around Sunday Cup when I have nothing to do.
 
Has to be the AC Cobra 427 - tuned to around 700 horsepower, blue with double white stripes
 
BMW 2002 Turbo, Toyota 2000GT, Mercedes 300SL Coupe, Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale and GTA, Nissan Skyline BLRA-3, S50-D, Honda S500, Auto Union V16 Streamliner, and the Jensen Interceptor...

All those cars rekindled many a happy memory...

Yes I love the Buick GNX too, although it's hard to pick a specific favourite. The GNX has got same engine as my car but with turbos.

Any of the small British cars, Ginetta, Lotus Elan etc. As I owned an MG Midget for a while I'd have to pick the Triumph Spitfire as at least it shared the same engine!

I currently own an MGF VVC '98 so if we're counting the MGF '97 as a classic (which it is) I'll pick that :)
 
So many cars to choose from but im going to have to say the Lotus Elan (British Racing Green) fully stock still beats many newer cars easily or the 72' Dodge Charger Super Bee 427
