Depends on car. Red, black and orange on supercars (458, MP4 etc.), British Racing Green on English cars (Aston's, Jag's). Silver ofr any other car, it looks neat and discrete.

Black; Suits nearly every car, can't really criticise it at all and matched up with black wheels, cars look menacing.

Depends on car... Silver goes with anything. Hondas have to be champ white... Mazda lookes good in velocity red... Subaru has to be blue... Etc.

Silver goes with any car? Or secondary color? Plain silver doesn't look too good in my opinion, it has to have an accent of some sort

Well Ferrari's and Alfa's always in Red.

Black for everything else.

I can't come up with one must-have color, really - it depends on the car. As an example: Shelby Cobra MUST be blue (white stripes make it perfect).
