In 3rd grade I scored a 128 for the "gifted" thing. Missed it by two points. IQ tests don't measure you're intelligence, but rather the amount of information you're capable of "soaking up."

Which also happens to be infinity.

HarHar.

With virtually everybody in this forum who has posted here possessing an IQ of above 120, one wonders why all these above average intelligence people are dicking around on a forum all day, instead of discovering how to make cows produce milkshakes instead of plain milk.

lol when I was in 6th grade I became a member of Mensa  I was a nerd, kids were still reading books where the largest word was 4 letters and I was reading chapter books. I read the original 20,000 leagues under the sea book in 3rd grade. I'm quite sure it has gone down though.

Why does everybody say things like this? IQ tests measure nothing but your ability to take an IQ test. The value of the measurement is extremely limited. If you take an IQ test to people who can't read, they can't take the test. Does this mean they are unintelligent? If you give an IQ test to a person from a non-technological localle they will fail becaue they have no experience of systematic, analytical problem solving, no exposure to mathematics or geometry. Do we assume they are unintelligent? That they can't retain information?

Well, I just took emode's test again (I know the topic's dead), and got this:
Congratulations, Jpec!
Your IQ score is 136

go figure...
