Why people are so interested in a score on a test that measures nothing but your ability to take that test explains a lot.

the last time i took a test it said i was about 140. i think 120-130 is average for my age. IQ doesnt really tell how smart u are its a measurment of your ability to learn.

No it's not. It measures your ability to take an IQ test.

First of all, I.Q.'s aren't age specific, and I.Q.-tests do measure your intelligence. (not always succesfully, though)

I've never taken a proper IQ test but the crappy ones on the internet put me somewhere around 130.

Online ones are not that accurate. I have scored from a 115 to a 160 on online ones...quite a wide range. I trust eMode's the most, which gave me a 138.
