That is what I was meaning. Even with a brand new blade it hurts so bad it almost brings a tear to my eye. :(

I use a Sensor or a Mach three with Edge Gel. But only if it's been a couple of days since my last shave.
If I'm feeling "dedicated" I use my Remington Electric razor with beard attachment.

But I absolutely hate the ones with the rotary blades. They are a straight ***** to clean, and they prove to be useless for the removal of hair if they are dirty/clogged with hair.

Many of patients use the rotary ones, and you wouldn't believe the number of little old men that have shaved for years that don't know you have to clean your electric razor or it gets clogged with old whiskers.:yuck:

BTW, if you shave directly after a hot shower your facial hair will be softer and will be easier to shave.
Remember you're not raking weeds with a dull hoe. This is your face!!!

obviously, you see it on everything these days, like.....well, i cant think of any at the moment, but you get the point.
You see it on Ford Festivas, hairdryers, dishwashers, computer screens, hexagonal workbenches, televisions, VCRs, DVDs, and the like...

I tried using a blade a few times; kept cutting myself so my dad went out and got me a pretty nice electric one.

What, you can't even shave properly?! Something that should come naturally to you as a MALE?! Shame on you boy, shame on you.

Yup, that's what I do. And of course, run the blade under hot water... that makes a huge difference!

No, I could shave properly, but the thing is my face would sting like the dickens for days no matter how much stuff I put on it; and I didn't feel like going through that every morning of my waking life...

YOU'RE ALL NANCY MEN. NANCY MEN!

I shave after I wash my face in cold water, and rinse the hair that accumulates in the blades with cold water.

YOU NEED TO BE REAL MEN. REAL MEN!

So am I. I'm talking about facial hair with stubble so sharp and nasty it could cut the turkey on Thanksgiving if need be.

Also Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. I can't wait until they bring out the Gillette Mach 3 VTEC - a proper naturally aspirated razor. Wazzocks.

Then they'll probably come out with the Type R version or maybe I could just a get JDM blade imported from Japan. Then it would be a hybrid Mach 3. :D

We are real men.
We just still have our faces intact.
We'll know you by the massive amount of toilet paper bits on your face.

I've actually only ever cut myself shaving twice. Both times were above the lip. I am teh suck at shaving my mustache, which is why I avoid it like the goddamn plague.

Sometimes I skip two days. But then it hurts.

Yep, nothing worse then trying to blade off two or three days of stumble. I usually forget to change my blade and end up shaving with a blunt edge. Thats the stuff dreams are made of. Hence I use the electric/blade combo to get rid of the tough stuff.

Interesting to see Mach 3 is so popular. Schick bites IMO; there is just nothing to rival a triple blade-swivel head-suspension sensitive-easy to clean Gillette. The best a REAL man can get :D

I use a Gilette Sensor Excel and gel for shaving my face and head, and a Remington trimmer for my goatee. Usually every two to three days as I can't be bothered to do it more often. I usually just shave when I start to itch!

I tried disposable razors once, and ended up looking like I'd lost a fight with a cat.

I don't shave. I also don't trim it either. No, that's not true. I do trim when I get bubble gum, or the like, stuck to my thick beard.

Whenever I notice stubble appearing on my top lip I take it off with my dads razor. I think it's a Gillete? I've done it dry a few times, not really sore, just irritating for the rest of the day.

I shave with a Mach 3, and King of Shaves Gel.

I actually shave in the shower, which I find works really well for getting a good smooth shave without coming out looking like I've got a serious skin disorder.

I'll go five days without shaving quite often, but as a general rule I shave every other day.

I just got a Mach 3 Turbo free in the mail and it is amazing! I shave with just water, but with that razor there is no irratation at all.

Hmm, I use that new one with 4, yes 4 blades. It's black/silver. I also use Edge Shaving Gel with it. (33% More!)

I use the El Cheepo generic twin blades that come in a plastic bag, warm water and liquid soap.
But, I only have to shave my cheeks (of face) and neck, the rest is dealt with by a pair of scissors.
I used to have a face-mower, but it would only make my face look like it had been shaved, still felt rough and stubbly and later in the day I'd have to give it another go.
The best was using a new twin-blade while taking a hot shower.
Smooooth and it lasts all day.

ok so...right now i use schick extreme 3 which is sooooo bad. worst shave ever. leaves my face so uncomfortable and not at all entirely smooth. its a mother to clean too. i've used the mach 3 and its awesome. best shave ever. so i think i'm going to switch back but then i saw the schick quattro and i thought maybe 4 blades would make it more comfortable...anyone have any suggestions?

mach 3 for me...a huge step up from the crap in the bags

Giles, go for the Turbo, it's even better.

I shave in the shower, too, every day. Twice. Down first to chop off the long stuff, then up for smoothness. I have to shave every day or I look like a stew bum. Plus my beard is quite dark, except I'm getting a lot of startlingly-white salt in my pepper these last few years.

I used a disposable a few months ago while I was out of town and forgot my own. I regretted it for a week.

That's normal for the first few times, the skin gets used to it after a while.

Sissy.

I use my gilette mach 3 I got for free b/c I was filling out a survey. =)
