I think a mixture of slight boredom and the urge for a new challenge unlike anything anyone has done before. (i could have been the very first person in the world to complete 100 laps of Complex String in just one sitting (with a hour break for lunch)).

And i made it a 600hp limit for all those who wanted to do it too (only other people who did it were a few Aussies!) to make it more of a challenge.

To tell you the truth, i actually quite enjoyed it, and managed to get a fast lap time (4:19.xxx) in a slightly modified 595hp Nissan 300zx which was, and still is, very tail happy. (with no TCS or ASM).
Out of all the people who did it, i had the slowest time. (close to eight hours i think)

:)
I've done 20 laps of the String before, and that took me like nearly 2 hours. I don't know whether I could handle 100 laps!

Mine would be tha R32 S-Tune. I love that car from its gunmetal color to its easy ability to drift and control with tha gas.

Besides the F1 cars, my workhorses are...

  • Mazda Miata 1.8 (fully prepped, with turbo)
  • Mazda Miata LS (completely stock)
  • Mazda Miata LS (fully prepped, no turbo)
  • Mazda RX-7 RZ
  • Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
  • Mazda 787B

Hmm...I think I see a pattern here. I could be biased with two Mazdas outside my house ;)

As for the cars I had high hopes of but never was able to tune to my liking:
  • RUF CTR2
  • Jag XJ220
  • Lotus Esprit V8

I did ineed, but i really don't care whether the car loses hp or not. If it loses some hp, then all you do is go buy some more. Simple. :)
