Anyone notice the viper gte is 2 seconds slower bare minimum

I run the viper gte cause it's my favorite race car but right behind it cause I'm only as fast as gt3 in the viper I run the c8.r gte and instantly I'm 2 seconds faster on a bad lap mind you
