I've voted naked bike as the only bikes I've owned are a 1980 Honda 250N Superdream and 1998 Suzuki Bandit 600. Alas I don't currently own a bike :(

SV1000 is cool, I contemplated getting a SV650 before I got the Bandit.

I voted Sportstourer
My bike is a Kawasaki ZZR 1400, mod. '07, diablo black.

I bought it brand new in 25th October 2007, replacing my ZZR1100 D6

(this photo was taken during the last day I had my 1100)

I got flat feet :grumpy: and like long trips:tup:, need foot boards to survive :guilty:.

See below for bike, still need to upload pics, but look in my avatar for a preview.

So here are pictures: Yamaha 1100 Dragstar

My old motorcycle Kawasaki LTD 750, that is worth more to me then I get from the market, so I kept it:

02 Yamaha YZF-600, voted sportsbike, although I guess sports tourer could work too, but from what I've read, it's basically an R-6 with a comfier seat, and... Not sure exactly what else, but not a whole lot.

Here's my baby:

Only changes made since the photo; matching front white numberboard, bling clutch pressure plate, vented clutch cover (to better hear the famous Ducati rattle/whistle), Oberon clutch slave cylinder, and an Ultimap chip.

And my missus rides this:

We make a nice noise together

Niiiiiiiice 👍 that explains your user name then! I bet your neighbours love you with a pair of Termignonis on a SPS! What size is the Monster?

My missus surprised me the other day by suggesting I should get a bike again when the kids are old enough to be left to their own devices, some years off though.

Ahh - confession time :dopey:
It's not an SPS. It's a Bip with SPS seat unit, which was how it was when I bought it 3 years ago. The Ultimap chip and Termis brings the power closer to the SPS though 👍

The Monster is a 696

Well it looks the part and a chipped termi'd bip isn't exactly second rate!

It took them a long time to realise the 999 wasn't pretty enough but I still don't think 1098 is as nice as the 916/996

I just started to hate you a little, Mr Duke :P
Jokes aside, these are nice bikes.
Buy your girl a new numberplate holder for her birthday though.
The stock one is FUBAR, the Monster deserves better

Supermoto/Cross, as I don't have a motorbike license and the only bike I've owned is a Zongshen Hummer 250cc 4-stroke.

It's also the bike that I fractured my knee on. Not a very fond memory, that.

My mum has a much more colourful bike history, surprisingly.

I drive a Yamaha YZF-600R Thundercat. The Thundercat is considered a Supertourer, but i still like to call it a sportsbike.
However i will probably switch to an 2004 ZX10R next year.

My bike is a standard, a Yamaha XS Eleven. Go to wikipedia. That's my bike.

I love those old big bikes. Flat seat, big motors. Who cares if they don't handle and stop like modern bikes, and that tires are getting harder and harder to find? And a shafty! Cool!

(That Yammy shaft drive is not much different than what's on my FJR, from what I can see of bolts and pieces.)

👍 👍 👍

You do know it's against the AUP to post pornography :D

Nice bike, bet its a lot of fun in the twisties. 👍
That exhaust makes me  though

Noooo, the exhaust on the RS250 is the second best thing on the bike after the polished aluminium banana swing arm. Braaaaap :D

I remember many many years ago, when I were lad, being stopped in my tracks by one in a bike shop and spent the following few months trying to work out a way to afford one...turns out there wasn't a way :( At the time I had a Honda CB250N Superdream which was a turd when it was made in 1980 and was like a bout of syphilis compared to the RS250.

Neal you have an eye for mechanics  👍
The swing arm is my favorite thing too, about the exhaust I have being forced to take it down by the police about 1 year ago, now it is in my box sleeping...
Another thing I like a lot is the Brembo brake system
immagine0781.jpg

Now with steel braided brake tubes

Your bike was like this?
