Recently I've ordered season 5 of Spooks, season 6 of 24 and I've bought The Dish, Matchstick Men, Kingdom of Heaven and V for Vendetta.
 
Matchstick Men was pretty good. I'll probably get it, one of these days.

I dont know, when I checked play.com they only have the DVD version up for sale, unless i missed it. Its a Brit flick so thats why we have it :D you guys have had 300 and BD for ages now and its still not out over here.

I'm on a roll now. I went to Blockbuster + Hollywood looking for "Hot Fuzz" used DVD, it wasn't out yet, but ended up with another 4-for-$20:

Shaun of the Dead - I already have it. Picked it up for friend.
The Devils Rejects - This movie sucks...... but I collect bad horror flicks(must be some kind of mental illness!).
Children of Men - I like Sci-Fi, and I like Clive Owen.
Ring - Yes sir, I finally did it. I LOVED this movie, but it scares me so much, I could never own it. I finally got my own copy. One of my favorite horror flicks. 👍

That's even worse! YSSMAN thought "Sunshine" was due in theaters(in the States) this fall, but last time I checked wiki, it was supposedly still undecided. Man! If I can see it in 2007, I'll call it good. :dopey:
 
Got myself Remember the Titans, even though im not a sports fan, and find (dare i say it) American sports a little dull, because of the passion you instill in the game's you play, they make for great movies, and this film has to be on the top of my list of good sports films.
 
I don't care too much for sports movies, usually. Remember the Titans was a no-brainer though. Great DVD. 👍

I love sports movies of all types.

but American Football and Golf movies seem to be cropping up allot in my collection along with Field Of Dreams and The Fan
 
I liked both of those, but Field of Dreams, now there's a classic!(and yes, I have it).
 
Sky High BD
300 BD

Sky High is a good fun family film, I was a little disappointed by the lack of references to super hero history, but it was fun tho.

300 was ok, if a little short, the image quality is v-good dispite the grain effect they used. Worth watching a few times.

Anyone got 2001: A Space Odyssey on Blu-ray yet? I'm waiting for my delivery from the US. It got a great review at highdefdigest.com for its picture quality. For a near 40 year old film it's supposed to look pretty impressive.

Just to say I got 2001 Blu-Ray from Amazon US and it came in 6 days to the UK.
It looks great. The best quality I've ever seen. Definately a must get Blu-Ray for any serious sci-fi fan!

I might have to have this one. "2001" certainly is a classic, and I love my copy on DVD. I should be getting my PS3 to play Blu-rays on pretty soon. 👍

Just got my Collectors Edition of "Blade Runner" on Blu-ray. 5 discs in a briefcase with postcards, miniature police hover car and unicorn and holograph film print.
The restoration on the film is excellent, the best I've yet seen. The film looks stunning, as close to perfect as possible. Full anamorphic, 5.1 TrueHD, brilliant master. Absolutely my favourite blu-ray I have at the moment.
A must-buy for PS3 owners and sci-fi fans.👍
 
I bought The Bourne Ultimatum today but I left it at work, so I'll have to get it on Monday.
 
I still like the first Bourne a lot better than either of its sequels.....

Well, I didn't buy these, but I just got the five free Blu-ray movies in the mail:

American Psycho - first Christian Bale film I saw.
Full Metal Jacket - I already had this one...... on a Laserdisc!
The Prestige - Modern classic! Plenty of replay value. 👍
Species - Guilty pleasure, and down hill from here....
S.W.A.T. - I swear that they were giving away better movies earlier in '07. :D
