I drift, race, and cruise and what i listen to usually depends on my mood... Lately i have been in a great mood and i have been listening to lil wyte... I love his songs here is a short list...
Get high to this
Get gone
I got that candy
This next one is great because i have had a lot of people backstab me in the past and i listen to this song and it always makes me feel better about it...that one is.... So called homies

For cruising: Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Nirvana, etc...

Racing: None, like to hear the engine sound... 👍

Chat soon. :)

Lately I've just been listening to the radio when cruising. Makes it feel a lot more realistic to me, as if the radio is actually in the car lol.

As for racing, it depends what mood I'm in. If I'm in a dubstep mood, I'll listen to that. If I'm in more of a rock mood, I'll listen to some AC/DC or Guns N Roses. I like basically all music genres, apart from HEAVYSCREAMOOMGEEHHHAHAH music. And classical opera-ish music.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Screamo either.

Though I'd love to put some Six Feet Under and Lamb of God in my playlist :sly: They're not screamo but they're super intense 👍

I've now got a playlist for the menus, made completely of my favourite songs from classic games; Midnight Club 3; Remix loading music, GTA San Andreas theme, GTA IV R&B (The Vibe 98.7), for racing I may have the odd DUBSTEP track here and there 👍

I can't drive worth a d*mn if I can't hear my car, motor and tires, so I don't listen to music while driving.

Whenever possible, I have some of the neighborhood kids come over and sing the Breakbot remix of Pnau's "Baby" over and over while I race. One to do the beat, one to hum the piano and three to do the lyrics usually works pretty good.

Nice

i usually just listen to radio 1 (greg james is my fav dj) or just nothing but the engine noise :)

I don't listen to any music while driving/racing. The first thing I've done on every GT game since the original is turn all the music off.I want to hear the engine and sound effects, not mind numbing house music! Reminds me of a Casio keyboard demo! I do usually have the TV on in the background though.

I think garbage imperfect for granturismo I mean it is the music they used in gt1 and 2 its perfecto other than that I listen to the harmonic sounds of the vehicles I use

If any, i turn off ALL standard Race BGM, and set menu+slideshow music instead, im already pumped so some jazz fusion or Chopin helps to be patient and think long term,

I've got rock from the late 60s til the early 90s and some newer stuff too, with some of the 90s buzz and a few metal bands. Cruise around in a '69 Vette listening to the Doors or in a '10 Camaro jamming to Chevelle & Metallica.

More my style for sure!👍

Racing Playlist:

Ion Dissonance
Black Dahlia Murder
All Shall Perish
Mastodon

Menu Playlist:

Hopesfall
Dead Poetic
Dark New Day

I don't really expect people to know who those bands are lol.

FWIW.. a good buddy of mine is now playing Bass for SFU, was never really a fan before, but you can damn sure bet I am now! haha

Menu: Easy Listening - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Etta James
Race: Funk and Disco - The O-Jays', Lou Rawls, Barry White, Harold Melvin and the Blunotes

This will sound weird coming from a fan of R&B, but for racing just to get me pumped up a bit I play this every now and then;
