Beautiful track! It looks like a course built right into a park.

Yeah, that is a nice looking track :) 👍 .....

BRISTOL! Imagine running 20+ cars on that track with real-time damage! (assuming all this is on GT5).

That just got me thinking, wouldn't it be great if you could decide how many cars would be in a race for simulation mode?

Good track I'd like to see...
Hockenheim
Road America
Bathurst
Vancouver

I'd also like to see a track in Manchester, preferably south Manchester, why...... Because it'd be cool to race around where I live.

Zandvoord ( holland )
SPA (belgium)
Zolder ( belgium)
nur F1 circuit

Being from Canada and knowing there is alot of racing heritage in this country,a track from Canada would be cool. Mosport or the Indy circuits in either Montreal,Toronto or Vancouver could prove interesting in game form I think.

Birmingham Superprix (UK) - Closed 1990.

I remember the street races when I was a kid :)

Test Drive 5 had a circuit track in Manchester. There was a really big bridge, as well as a smaller red bridge, and there were also three consecutive jumps a la Seattle, but with more pavement between them:trouble:. Does that all sound familiar?

Bathurst would be great for poor tyre testing.

Brands Hatch Full

I live in Manchester too - but North ;). Just moved from South though 👍.

Nice thread 👍 , you should update your first post with members suggestions....keep a running tally.

My Vote goes to Road America - Elkhart Lake

I think they need to do more with the Formula 1 racing in GT5.........................earn/win a Formula 1 (You have Renault, Toyota, Jaguar, Mercedes, etc and yada! Make the Formula 1 cars legit vs making them a Gran Turismo car. Let us be able to pick and choose tires and mod the engines just like all the other cars in the game!) then race on true GP tracks, i.e.,

Albert Park
Sepang
Bahrain
Autodromo (Imola)
Catalunya
etc & etc..........................Win a Formula 1 event to unlock more GP courses!!

oran park in sydney :)

and for a town, macquarie fields... and the ai are police cars :p

I think some sort of cross-country sort of track, for an enduro. It would be different for the GT series, plus you would always have some new scenery to go along the course while you are driving. Just something to think about.

crazy
Just to be patriotic, Calabogie Motorsports Park :)

Ooh, that`s purty. Kinda looks like Autumn Ring 👍 .
How about Mid-Ohio & Indianapolis Motor Speedway, even though it`s basically an oval. Plus bring back all tracks from all previous GT`s, like Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley & SSR 11. During the GT2 days, I was crushed to discover some of the tracks in GT weren`t real :ouch: . It meant I couldn`t really go to Midfield or Apricot Hill :( , but I`m over that now :p .

Of the Australian tracks realsitically only a few are worth considering - tbh I think we'll be lucky if we get any.

Bathurst is obviously the most important one, as it is a demanding track respected by drivers worldwide. Big changes in elevation and plenty of fast sections make it a winner.

Phillip Island is probably the pick of the Aussie tarmac circuits, it's certainly more enjoyable than Eastern Creek or Oran Park (just ask a bike rider!). Willowbank would be great to have as a drag strip :)

The old Adelaide Grand Prix track would be a great street circuit, imo it's better than Albert Park. Adealide is still used for the Clipsal 500 V8 supercar race, not sure what the changes are from the GP version.

Targa Tasmania road rally has had some great stages over the years - but which one? :)

The international tracks I think everyone has covered, though I'd particularly like to see the old Hockenheim (with and without chicanes) - I'm not too keen on the new version but may as well include it as most of it's in the old ones.

Macau!!!
F1 drivers can't forget this track ...
1 mistake you will be out of the race

All previous Gran Turismo Tracks maybe even including the before and after eg Laguna Seca.

Adelaide Grand Prix Track
Sebring

Longer point to point rally tracks
Special stage rally tracks

The older grand prix tracks before the safety requirements increased eg Paul Ricard and the old Imola.

mokitr
Canadian Cities
I can go with that. Toronto has a cool street race for open wheel cars. Trois Riviere is/was on the Trans-Am schedule and is a pretty cool course.

Other tracks I would like to see are:

-From past games-
The original Special Stage Route 11 (with the real chicane under the overpass)
Grindelwald
Red Rock Valley
Complex String
Pikes Peak

-Other real race tracks-
F1 tracks
ALMS tracks (Lime Rock Park, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Portland, etc.)
WRC tracks
BTCC tracks
Burke Lakefront Airport (Cleveland, OH)
Buttonwillow http://www.buttonwillowraceway.com/ (It has over 20 different test & race configurations in Southern California)
race_wt.gif

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Fontana (Not just the oval. The road course + oval. Sometimes referred to as a "Roval" [Southern California])
Thunderhill Raceway Park (Northern California) www.thunderhill.com
trackmapnew02.jpg

Remember the Ford GT commercial that played during the superbowl two years ago? The commercial was filmed at Thunderhill. Turn 5 and the turn 5 bypass get very "sketch." Go to the thunderhill site and watch the one lap videos. Turn 5 is on a hillside so the balance of the chassis gets upset easily.
Streets of Willow (Southern California)

-Real World Locations-
Bonneville Salt Flats (For high speed runs because it's one of a few places on earth you can watch a car "fall off" the horizon. It's that large).

... Always a works in progress ... I'm sure there will be more to come.

I'll say a few Aussie tracks already mentioned about 20 times.
Bathurst
Willowbank drag strip
Targa Tasmania
(Even though it's crap)Queensland raceway- might be good for license tests and such, I want it for a familiar feel when I'm racing.
Gold Coast Indy track- for a tight down under street course.
👍 👍 👍 👍

I'm pretty convinced we'll see Bathurst and maybe even one more Aussie track, because of "World Travelling" idea behind the game.

I guess the new game will be much more World-oriented, so we can expect some tracks from Middle East - like city track of Dubai.

Istambul city track would be a major inclusion too.

Spa Francorchamps is another 99%, as well as one Italian circuit. Form the philosophy of series, Nardo would be crazy one.

And game is lacking propper British racing-track form the very beggings, guess we can expect one city and one racing track from the GB. Some nice ride on the Scotish hills would be nice too.

And oldies: SS11, Grun, RRW, Romes... especially Rome Night.

We'll know soon.

I think more real rally stages and ice tracks need to be in the game, the rally stages in GT4 don't seem to be as good as the real rally tracks.

Here is a plan of what Thruxton looks like which I want in GT5 also you will have seen Thruxton on GT4: P DVD.

thruxtoncircuitmap03.jpg

in gt5 i would love to see extra tracks like:

hockenheim
zandvoort
oscherleben
spa - franchanchorps
oulton park
silverstone
the current nurburgring (not the old schleiffe)
donigton park

and city race tracks of:
liverpool
manchester
london
edinburugh
and finally york

also like a free roaming area of mountain roads
like a small part of the alps or some of the great B roads in north wales! :) :) 👍

another one as well would be the different parts of the targa florio track in italy that would finally make up the whole run in one championship! :dopey:

More city tracks would be better. As I live in London I'd like to see lots there, maybe one on a runway like on Top Gear (BBC UK)? A proper Las Vegas track would be nice, it looked great in GT4 in drag and photo modes, a proper track would be brilliant.
How about a rally on the moon?

Only skimmed the thread but I see some tracks that I'd like included aslwell.
As a matter of fact I was pondering this same topic last night so here goes for my list;

City tracks...

Rome Short. (Bring it BACK!!!)
Rome Night. (Bring it BACK!!!)

Real tracks:

Spa (old and new)
Brands Hatch (+ Brands Hatch Indy)
Monza (old and new + the banked oval layout)
Solitude http://www.solitude-memorial.de/
Bathurst
Isle of Man TT

City tracks:

NONE! Dump them all, can't stand them, especially Tokyo and Hong Kong.

HIll Climbs like the one in Lakeside in the north, were it goes from 0-1000ft would be great fun, mind the sheep though :D

Jerez would be good, and how about superstages?
