What other game(s) do you play besides GT 6?

The AI in Forza ruins it for me. I'm not a big online player, so the core game-play is important to me. Forza's AI is just horribly bad. True, GT's is somewhat easy, but at least it acts like it knows what the purpose of a race is. FM's AI seems as though it's there to hinder the player and nothing else... That is when it acknowledges there are other cars even on the track. It reacts poorly if/when it reacts at all. Just hire a driver and watch it "race". It brakes needlessly, it corners badly, it hits other cars as if they weren't present, it attempts to pass at improper times, it fails to make passing attempts at golden opportunities, etc, etc. It's as though it was programmed by people who have never even driven a car, let alone raced one. After a GT race, I feel as though I've run a race (even if it was an easy victory), where with FM, I feel like I've been in a destruction derby run by a bunch of untrained monkeys.

That's pretty funny cuz I feel exactly how u feel but about gt's AI. For one if u would put forza's AI on the hardest diff they won't slow down to much in corners and will take them at the same speed as u as long as y'all both have similar grip lvls. I know u aren't playing on the hardest AI cuz that's how forza slows the cars in the lesser diff setting by slowing the cars down in corners but still going flat out on the straights. All AI has difficulty steering clear of the player regardless of the game. In forza the AI does avoid u when it can and will take a multitude of diff lines thru a corner depending on where u are. For example if u come up the inside of an AI car under braking into a turn the AI won't try to take the inside line thru the turn it will take an outside line and give u the inside. Iv only been playing gt6 for a week so I can't comment to much about it other than I have been spun out and run off the track several times in corners. Also the AI in GT doesn't race flat out... The car in first place will sit and wait for u to pass and once u do he will then go flat out. That seem kinda unrealistic for a game that claims to be the most realistic racing simulator on a console. Both games have their faults. The AI in GT for sure goes to slow into corners I repeatedly have to dodge their accesivly braking asses coming into almost every turn. Next time u play forza put the AI on the hardest setting and turn off all the assists and turn on simulation steering u may be pleasantly surprised if keep an open mind and give it a chance.

All sorts of games, whether they be for PS3, PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube (rarely), N64 or Xbox (the first)
I have been playing a lot of GT6 lately, but a lot of Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes as well. Apart from that, Racing, Fighting, Stealth, Yakuza and Third-Person-Action-Adventure-Shooty-Things (such as Uncharted), are my main genres, but I play just about anything outside of football management games and extremely-wordy-pink-hair-and-magic JRPGs.

I will be firing up MGS IV this weekend....... I feel the need to sneak around and try to break my time record..... for fellow fan I've included this cool homage poster to the series.....

I agree, the cars in GRID 2 are so drifty that it makes the game feels unrealistic. :ouch:
Exactly. Feels too unrealistic. If all the roads are mud or stone, that's totally fine. But it is on street! Strange. ALready delete Grid2 from my PS3. Sorry, but couldn't feel any fun while playing it.

Civilization V, Elder Scrolls series, Deus Ex The Fall, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Metal Gear Solid(pick one), Railroad Tycoon 3, Fallout series, Close Combat IV: Battle of the Bulge, and many others.

Any racing game, no matter how arcady it may be (still favour the realism of GT though). F1 Stars is a blast with friends and a few bevies! The Uncharted, MGS, Assassins Creed, Elderscrolls and Mass Effect series. The Last of Us of course! GTA. Battlefield. UFC. And anything PS Plus has to offer. Had to sell loads of my old games not long ago so i'm slowly building my collection back up.

Don't get me wrong, GT6 is a good and an enjoyable ride, but to keep me from getting bored, I took out my copy of "Last of Us" and fired it up on my secondary account...... I know there are other car games but the change of pace is nice. Until more content is added and the "bugs" are fixed, I plan on doing a few races, keep my log in bonus up and buy/tune cars and then enjoy the adventures of Joel and Ellie...

What other games do you play besides GT6?

Thanks in advance for your responses and look forward to hearing from those of you who won't rant against me for thinking that GT6 is the only game worth playing........

:bowdown::cheers:👍:gtpflag:
I play a very wide variety of games ranging from Little Big Planet, KZ3, Uncharted, GT5, Forza 4, Skyrim, BF3, Halo 4, GTA5 and most anything that is fun. Fun is the key word. The largest majority of my gaming is online co-op games.

What? i think Frostbite 3 was mind blowing

mmm mayby , they can fix the game first since its a piece of crap.

The people who do like the game are overhyped and dont give a ****.

And the people who dont like it (like me) see all the bugs and errors and wont play it.

Hell, the netcode from bf3 is WONDERFULL compared to BF4

Finished Grid2 before the New Year. Right now I am playing Borderlands 2 and Battlefield 4 if I am not playing GT6. I have been really surprised with BF4 as it has been a step backwards for that franchise.

Skyrim
GTA-V
Red Dead Redemption
GT5
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Looking to get The Last of Us, next. heard good things about it

I Beat GTA-5 in 3 weeks, but the online kinda sucked. Couldn't get into the car aspect of it. Spoiled by Gran Turismo physics. Haven't played it too much since

Skyrim is probably my 2nd fave after GT

After running the seasonals tonight, I worked on finishing the first run through of The Last of Us on my secondary account....will the start my game+ next. I forgot how great the storytelling in the game was and the scene in Utah was so wonderful considering how bleak the rest of the game is.....

When I'm not playing GT6, I indulge in either Skyrim, DiabloIII with the "better" half, or trying to make it through my second replay of The Last of Us......currently the Red Bull Junior races are giving me the run-around as I can't seem to win the 1st race......

I think that my love of driving is beginning to wain.......I have reduced my GT 6 time to doing the daily log in bonus and running events on Friday or Saturday evenings....I for one am looking forward to the return of B Spec as it had it's moments.....about to fire up some more "clickers and runners" on my game plus of "The Last of Us".........if all the glitches are fixed I might get back to playing GT 6 daily......

I did play Skyrim, but my laser went out o the ps3 and can only play dl'd games now,

On PC I only play a F2P game. It´s called Smite.
On PS3 I started playing Skyrim but well started it :)

Apart from that when a couple of Buddies are at my place:
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Playstation Allstars Battle Royal
PES2013

On PS3 I started playing Skyrim but well started it :)

It took me awhile to get into the "goove" of Skyrim.....it's a fun game to play and if you join the Thieve's Guild, the benefits of joining can be rather awesome...... I've finished the story line including the DLC's and it was amazing.... becoming a Nightingale has it's advantages.
