What other game(s) do you play besides GT 6?

transpaqua.....I agree with you on several of the games....Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, and The Last of Us are among some of my favorites......I started a new character in Skyrim and it has been fun except for having to restart due to a weird occurrence where the L3 would not let me get out of the crouch position..... kind of like the weird glitches in GT6....

Hmm, that's weird. Never really ran into too many bugs with it. My first playthrough is at like 370 hours, I'm a bit of a completionist :sly: All Daedric artifacts, all sidequests, even all the Dragon Priest masks, all locations discovered.. Yeah, I was obsessed lol.

Tried to start a new char on my Alt account recently (easy way to not confuse save files for second playthroughs, btw) and made it to the "retrieve the dragon stone" quest before realizing... Yeah, I just can't get started in this again, don't have the time for it. Especially with the newest "legendary skills" patch.

Great, great, game though.

I lost my old "phatty" last night while playing Skyrim......🤬....going to spend my day reloading stuff.....not a pleasant feeling.....

Hoping you backup save data often?

As I learned with game saves AND digitally recording music...

BETTER SAVE THAN SORRY

Best of luck to you. And yeah, Skyrim is a MAJOR resource-hog.

Luckily, the "phatty" allowed me to download my game saves from both accounts but would not allow me to do the data transfer between it and the slim...at least my log in bonuses are still at 200% and the Skyrim character is going on......level 35 with the Nightingale armor (favorite armor except for the Daedric Ebony Mail with it's poison cloud) and Shadowmere ......wish there was a car in GT6 that could take the abuse you can give Shadowmere.......

I know that Shadowmere is hard to kill as she survived a Dragon attack....the pic was found online.....will try it later and check for myself....

The thing about Shadowmere is her insanely fast health regen stat. Not to mention a very large pool of HP to start with.

She doesn't like falls from super-high distances though :( R.I.P.

I always went with the Dragonscale armor (whichever version is the lightweight), with boots enchanted with feather and fortify sneak, and whatever pieces would accept fortify one-handed and fort archery :) Yes, that's only possible around end-game, but OP to the max.

With a high enough Smithing skill (plus fort. Smithing potions), you can have a full set of light Dragon armor up to around 770-800 points protection, that weighs next to nothing (if not negative, its been a while since I've played). I think the cap for damage is around 550.

I love how this thread is quickly devolving into Skyrim discussion  It's really making me want to fire it back up!

I have a fairly large game collection, but there's only a handful of games that get played frequently.

GT6 hands down gets played the most

NCAA 14
MLB The Show 13, the classic rosters have kept the re-playability up after the season ended
Forza 4
Forza 3, for the 911 GT1 Strassenversion
Forza Horizon
The Last of Us, only action game I have played through more than once
GTA5, for general tomfoolery
Fight Night Champion, bare knuckle mode

Skyrim calls me daily, but I know that if I heed these calls, I won't drive much for months. I just can't resist setting up a complex set of goals.

The last big self-imposed goal was to set the difficulty to Legendary, and attempt a single arrow kill of a Legendary Dragon. I had no real confidence that it was even possible. It is!

It took forever to set up the skills, the weapon, smithing, alchemy and the required poison. Then I had to find my target dragon. Twang, and he roared into the air only to crash and burn seconds later. (Puns intended)

Next goal was to take one out with Daggers. One in each hand. Single blow. That worked too, although it was not comfortable being that close to a Legendary. They smell bad too. Or maybe that was me sweating.

As goals go, these were immensely satisfying. I'm hopeless with knives, swords and axes (no coordination or speed), so I rely on stealth and ranged weapons. I knew that the Dagger plan would be a suicide mission unless I could take him out with one blow.

That was the best ever Skyrim day, the day these two goals came to fruition.

Try it, you'll like it!

mainly GT6 but I also play f1 2013, motoGP 13 the dirt games, wrc games saints row 2 nedd for speed (soon to be getting raivals) and farming simulator

Any of the earlier GT games, Yakuza (3+4, sad there's no subbed 5), the Skate series and the THPS series.

Oh and GTA too, with all sorts of random titles too.

Yes it is a great source of info......I'm noticing that on this playthrough that it is much more enjoyable after I learned things shold be done earlier to really enjoy them.....Shadowmere make exploring fun.....

So I 'm off to do my log in and then back to the College of Winterhold to finish it up.......then on to Dawnguard....the crossbow early on is a great equalizer.....

Ah, I still haven't gotten the DLC yet. Still waiting for a price drop on 'em. All together is more than I paid for my copy of just the game! ($30, I was late to the party lol)

But yeah, UESP especially helped me out with the "Leveled items" page.

Some weapons/apparel have different stats depending on your level when you find them. So I knew not to pick up certain things until it'd have max stats.

Ah, screw it. I can't resist anymore! I'm starting a new Khajit.

Like you I purchased my copy last summer on EBay with the original paperback guide( $30)....then bought Dragonborn and Dawnguard to enrich my playing pleasure....both have cool features that enhance play....the crossbow from Dawnguard is a blast and Dragonborn allows you to tame dragons and ride them......currently playing a Nord....with a twist( playing him like Agent 47/Solid Snake).....

There's a PC mod for Dragon Crossbows, my favourite thing in the game lol.

As for me;
Skyrim is one of my main games, modded to heck.
Anno 2070 is one I'm into currently also.
Metal Gear Series, been into these since PS1, just picked up the remakes now my PS2 has died, so happy times. Revengeance is a pretty awesome game too.
GTA5, though I'm pretty bored with this now, into the trade-in fodder I feel.
Assassins Creed Series - I have all of these and various special editions of all but the first, second favourite series after MGS.
Bioshock Series is what me and my other half sit in and play if the weather's grim or there's nothing better to do.
The Last of Us is basically the same as Bioshock here :P
Saints Row the Third - picked up the complete version with all DLC for like £5 on Steam, so why not.
Oblivion is generally a standard :P
Fallout 3 I'm still getting some good wear out of, especially with mods.
Tomb Raider (Latest one) is a good game, kept me entertained a while and picked up on Steam for a few quid with all the DLC.
Infamous 2 is a good laugh from time-to-time, and free on PSN.
Sims3 is something I've spent way too much time and money on, but it's still one of my favourite games just to sit and relax with.
Pokemon X and Y - I love the Pokemon series and I have a game from all sets that have been released, I only have a few missing from having all the pokemon games since Gameboy.
Lego Games are something generally I quite like, you get the story of various films and such, with the lego twist - especially enjoying The Lord of the Rings Lego game at the moment on my 3DS, probably picking up a PS4 with the Marvel Superhero's in the next few days.
Mercenaries 2 because blowing everything up in sight is a good way to kill time. And thousands of digital people.

Plenty more too really, just these are what tend to take most of my time up :P

That's pretty funny cuz I feel exactly how u feel but about gt's AI. For one if u would put forza's AI on the hardest diff they won't slow down to much in corners and will take them at the same speed as u as long as y'all both have similar grip lvls. I know u aren't playing on the hardest AI cuz that's how forza slows the cars in the lesser diff setting by slowing the cars down in corners but still going flat out on the straights. All AI has difficulty steering clear of the player regardless of the game. In forza the AI does avoid u when it can and will take a multitude of diff lines thru a corner depending on where u are. For example if u come up the inside of an AI car under braking into a turn the AI won't try to take the inside line thru the turn it will take an outside line and give u the inside. Iv only been playing gt6 for a week so I can't comment to much about it other than I have been spun out and run off the track several times in corners. Also the AI in GT doesn't race flat out... The car in first place will sit and wait for u to pass and once u do he will then go flat out. That seem kinda unrealistic for a game that claims to be the most realistic racing simulator on a console. Both games have their faults. The AI in GT for sure goes to slow into corners I repeatedly have to dodge their accesivly braking asses coming into almost every turn. Next time u play forza put the AI on the hardest setting and turn off all the assists and turn on simulation steering u may be pleasantly surprised if keep an open mind and give it a chance.

After playing GT6 for a little longer... Yeah, it's AI is pretty bad too. Much worse than previous GT titles (IMHO). Forza's is still sloppy as Hell, but GT's is no better. Just bad in different ways.

Basketball, hockey, and baseball. A video game diet will make you a couch potato if your not careful. That bright spot in the sky is called the sun.
Walking into a den of hungry lions with a bag full of blood-soaked meat is also dangerous and I would advise against it. Also, Hockey could break your bones. That sounds scuuurry.

On topic- When Metal Gear Solid 5 releases, I'll probably be running a schedule something like this for approximately 6-9 weeks: Work, run, MGS5, GT6 seasonals, Eat, Sleep(crutch).

Don't play anything else on PS3, I promised myself I wouldn't get anything on it that my kids couldn't play and there are very few decent games rated at 12 & below.

FIFA 10, Little Big Planet & the Lego Star Wars games are occasionally rolled out for my eldest but he has an XBox now as most of his friends do. I'm considering disowning him because of it as it is the only Micro$oft rubbish in the house but at least he bought it himself. Sometimes go on the Wii with the youngest but not very often.

However, I do play mostly retro (Player Manager, Battle Isle, History Line, Elite, Sims, GTA VC) or mobile (Battle Nations, Clash of Clans, Bejewelled Blitz, New Star Soccer, Pirates).

Will probably get GT5 out again if the GT6 updates take too long to appear, maybe even go back to GT4 and beyond if I fiish GT5 then GT4.

Also Civ 5 but it is a time killer and the wife hates it as I fail to respond with anything other than grunts when I get into it.

After a day of shovelling out of the snow that hit the NE, I did my log in bonus, painted my '62 Ferrari GTO metallic gunmetal, and headed back to the real current "obsession"....Skyrim......heading to Solitude to become Thane and buy the house and finish the "mysterious jewel" quest....did it on my 1st playthrough late in the game so I want to do it now before my level gets up there......(have 11 so far).

Since the seasonals have all been "time trials" my interest in GT6 is going "under" to the point that I may not even do sign in bonuses.......I wish that we would actually get a "racing seasonal" that can be repeated like in GT5......going to download the new The Last of Us story DLC while roaming the wilds of Skyrim on Shadowmere trying to find my missing Nightingale blade or heading to the Soul Cairn from the Dawnguard DLC....

Update....been playing Candy Crush Saga on my phone....addictively frustrating....also found that my Skyrim save that I had loaded on my flashdrive from 2/12 still had the blade( level 37) , so I reloaded it after saving the current one (level 42) to a new flash drive and will replay it......
