What other game(s) do you play besides GT 6?

Since the seasonals have all been "time trials" my interest in GT6 is going "under" to the point that I may not even do sign in bonuses.......I wish that we would actually get a "racing seasonal" that can be repeated like in GT5......going to download the new The Last of Us story DLC while roaming the wilds of Skyrim on Shadowmere trying to find my missing Nightingale blade or heading to the Soul Cairn from the Dawnguard DLC....

Update....been playing Candy Crush Saga on my phone....addictively frustrating....also found that my Skyrim save that I had loaded on my flashdrive from 2/12 still had the blade( level 37) , so I reloaded it after saving the current one (level 42) to a new flash drive and will replay it......

Thanks for the reminder on TLOUs DLC! Can't believe that release date slipped my mind, been looking forward to it since November.

Planned on getting Lightning's Return: FF XIII-III but... then I played the demo.

I went back to GT5 update 2.11. Building hybrids is much more fun right now. I am waiting on some serious updates from PD before I go back to GT6. I also fired up my PS2 and have been playing other racing games.

Anyone start the new The Last of Us DLC about Ellie? I downloaded it but can't stop the insanity that is called...."SKYRIM"......also still doing my log ins and waiting to see when the new update drops to see what happens......

I'm a gamer. I'll play virtually anything and have been playing electronic games since Pong. Card games, board games, word games, pen and paper RPG, console games, handheld games, PC games, etc... My Steam library sits at some 457 games and probably another 100 or so on Desura. The large numbers are due to my support of the Indie gaming scene. I keep up on all the current bundles (like HumbleBundle.com) and am often buying those bundles so the number of games I own is staggering and I do realize that there's no way I can play them all. If nothing else I've helped a small independent game developer pay his rent and I'll have plenty to do if I lose my net connection. I have big plastic tubs full of carts, consoles, discs, controllers, etc for virtually every console pre-lastgen. Of the lastgen I have the PS3 and the Wii. I do not own a 360 or XBone or PS4 and probably never will nor will I probably get any further generations of consoles for my own reasons that I won't go into here as that's not the discussion at hand. I used to play them all (or as much as I could as time would allow) but now due to circumstances beyond our (me and my partner) control we only have access to the PC and the PS3 which is connected to my monitor and speakers. I still have TONS to play on PC and to be honest PC is where I find the best gaming. My partner is a hard core gamer as well so we're always doing something together. She's the light of my life and most of our passions are shared interests. So the majority of this list is also her most played list as well, heh.

The games I've been enjoying most lately are:

PS3:

GT5 and GT6
Grid 2

PC:

Killing Floor (FPS Zombie CoOp survival. I have an obscene amount of time played in this one, more han any other game I've ever played.)

Left 4 Dead 2
(FPS Zombie CoOp survival, played with friends only.)

TorchLight II
(From the original designers of Dialbo and what Diablo III should have been more like. Played with friends only.)

Borderlands 2
(The majority of this and BL1 was played on our weekly gaming night with the best of friends and is still being played that way.)

Loadout
(Free to play but NOT pay to win 3rd person shooter)

Skyrim
(I'm a cloth wearing, Elven mage who double casts Master level Destruction at zero cost :D )

Race the Sun
(Indie stylized game where you race the sun to the horizon in a solar powered ship, sun goes down, you lose. Every day a new world is generated server side so it's a fresh experience daily.)

Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage
(First person janitor simulator. Just look it up on YouTube, it'll be easier that way. :) If you have OCD either stay away from this like the plague or embrace it wholly.)

One Finger Death Punch (Two button game, very simple, easy to learn gameplay. A shining example of doing more with less. This is a brilliant and EXTREMELY addictive game, you have been warned!)

Serious Sam 3: BFE (Playing this old school FPS CoOp with just my partner for now.)

... and finally ...

Eve Online (The single most complicated and brutal MMO there is. Entering its second decade of service this monthly pay to play space sandbox MMO is worth every penny and more. At least two free expansion every year, a dedicated developer that treat its players as real people not just numbers on a bottom line, and an experience unlike any other MMO. Eve is difficult, there's no other way to put it. Getting into the game is the largest hurdle you face as its complexity often scares people away. It takes effort to learn and a lot of reading but it's unbelievably rewarding when you get the hang of it. It's a sandbox. Do what you want, how you want. Be a pirate, bounty hunter, miner, industrialist, play the market, PVE, PVP, run in game scams to bilk your fellow players, fight as a hired gun, run missions, and more. Basically there's a universe to explore and you do it in your own way with incomparable freedom to other MMOs.)

There are more games I could list but those are the ones getting most of my attention right now.

My need to play GT6 has hit the large "pothole" in the road and caused a "flat tire"......the seasonals are just getting tedious as they require you to buy cars you may not want and if you "gold" them you are done..... I am having a hard time even thinking about logging in as I feel that it currently serves little purpose as most of the events I need to complete (NASCAR and the various karting series) are not my "cup of java"......as someone else on the forum stated I spend more time on GT planet then in the game.......

As I am on winter break ,I will make use of the remainder of the time to further my love of Skyrim and try the DLC for The Last of Us.....

:banghead::confused: :cheers: :gtpflag:

That CCS ... I really don't get that ...
but about GT6 ... i'm in the same modus ... now going back to MGS4 .... played it back in 2009 ... now experiencing it again ... as warm-up for GroundZeros .... (thanks to GT6) ... and some AC4BF (97%) and TLOU ...
I kind of feel sorry for GT6 ... that it can't keep my attention ... i really really really looked forward to it ... but that seems ancient history now ...

Cycling with strava. Real cycling, road and mountain. It's not a video game, but it is a never ending virtual world wide race. Besides, conquering challenges, speeds, friends, and previous records in the real world are what all video games are based on anyways: A little rush of endorphins in knowing you improved or excelled.

GT6 is my only game at the moment. I play about twice a week. I beat all of the Batman series. Skyrim's dungeons and quests became somewhat repetitive to me so I only got about 45% through it. Maybe I wasn't playing it smart enough, but figuring out one little quest could take many hours. Kinda looking for a new game, but nothing really grabs my attention as original lately. Maybe The Last of us, although I watch walking dead and that's about maximum moaning and zombie skull-crushing I'm into.

Gta V, Cod ghosts, Final fantasy 7 old but still fun, Blops 2, Transformers fall of cybertron and Bully old but fun and herocraft on minecraft.

Don't get me wrong, GT6 is a good and an enjoyable ride, but to keep me from getting bored, I took out my copy of "Last of Us" and fired it up on my secondary account...... I know there are other car games but the change of pace is nice. Until more content is added and the "bugs" are fixed, I plan on doing a few races, keep my log in bonus up and buy/tune cars and then enjoy the adventures of Joel and Ellie...

What other games do you play besides GT6?

Thanks in advance for your responses and look forward to hearing from those of you who won't rant against me for thinking that GT6 is the only game worth playing........

:bowdown::cheers:👍:gtpflag:

I play Borderlands 2, Ghost Recon, The Last of Us, NCAA Football 14, Ghosts, etc. I mainly only play GT6 on league race days..

Currently I'm re-playing the entire Mass Effect trilogy. I already know of 3's "ending" controversy, but I'm playing for the journey, not the destination.

Case in point, finding the credit chit in Kasumi's DLC mission.

Also, every 'funny' GTAV youtube video I watch, the more tempted I am to get that. :scared:

I'm trying to "complete" (if you can even call it that) Gran Turismo 4 without buying a car. It has been going well so far but im trying to get far enough in to get to the endurance events and win the 88C-V and that's proving to be where i am having a bit of trouble.

The Last of Us is a really great game with an incredible story.....it's not at all like "Walking Dead"......you should give it a try...you could buy a used copy at GameStop and if it's not your cup of java you could return it....

As far as Skyrim goes have you finished all the Dark Brotherhood,Thieve's Guild, Companion's, and Wizard quests?.....I'm currently replaying and have found that the game is more interesting than my 1st time through....

Maybe I should restart it. I didn't really care for my character, I think it was an imperial and I was trying to gain levels on each type of skill equally so my progress was slow. I don't think I finished any of those quests all of the way.

My time in GT6 has come to an abrupt stop as there is not much left for me to do (karts,NASCAR,time trial seasonals are not that intriguing)....unless the next update includes something interesting like B Spec, I believe that my time with GT6 will likely be spent here reading and writing......Skyrim is still my current diversion that just keeps me going......

How excited are some of you for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes? I am looking forward to getting my hands on it,even though it appears to be a preview to show off the game engine and to give players a feel for the game.....personally it looks awesome and I am really psyched. Until then I will keep logging in to GT 6 (hoping there will be a good update that makes me want to start playing again) an then back to Skyrim to enjoy the wonders of a complete game .....

Playing through Far Cry 3 again for giggles. Always liked the game. too bad i was never good at first person shooters. :nervous:

Still need to get the Blood Dragon expansion thing. :ouch:

Blood Dragon is a stand alone product not requiring FC3 to play.

I have it on Steam. It's a lot of fun, completely over the top acting and storyline like a really campy 80's scifi flick. I think I got it during one of the Steam sales for like $8 or something ridiculous like that.

My need to play Skyrim has taken over.....GT 6 may get put on the back burner....unless we get something good and soon , this may be my only connection to GT 6.....even the return of "B" Spec would get the fire to play more re ignited....I read it could be used on all the races in career mode....could be a fun way to deal with those kart races I am not to willing to play myself.....
