I thought this would be a good one to have a read over without judging people for their crazyness, i`ll also give you my one.
I was doing 231 in slightly wet conditions when I hit a slight off camber bump in the road and started to aquaplane straight of the road, ended up arse ending into a power pole and rolling trough a corn field. :banghead:

This is cut 'n' pasted from a previous post I wrote (you might want to search for "Tell us about your worst wreck")

Christmas 1999: I was driving 1997 Subaru Impreza Turbo on a country road, going round a left hander, came upon some water streams running across the road. Back end stepped out into oncoming lane. I would have gathered it all up were it not for the cement truck coming the other way

Heavy offside rear damage and a majorly bent shell led to instant writeoff. I was hurt, but not badly: the truck impacted about 8 inches behind the driver's seat . The driver of the truck was shaken but unhurt.

After a lengthy delay, I was prosecuted for careless driving and lost my license for 6 months - I have it back now. I'm not at all proud of this, and it still hurts for the error I made in going too fast. I loved that car and still miss it, but to this day I count and thank my lucky stars for it being a truck coming the other way, and not some little car with some kid's parents in it on December 13th.

What makes me mad is that I was going a bit too fast, and look what happened. And then you see people doing 50mph on the wrong side of the road outside a school, or driving drunk or on drugs. It really gets me upset.

But I'm so glad that when I had a big one, nobody other than me was hurt.

Mine is also cut 'n' pasted from a different post I made.

"I was driving down Highway 41 with a new Silverado in front of me about 50 car lengths up ahead, and the gap was closing very quickly. The '03 Ford delivery truck turned made a left out onto 41 in front of the Silverado. I figured the delivery truck was going to accelerate up to speed, and stay on 41, but I was wrong. I went to pass them both on the left because I felt that I had plenty of time, and space to do so in a safe manner, but as soon as I got done passing the Silverado from the left I noticed the delivery trucks brakelights, and then I saw its driverside front wheel turning left. It was at that moment that I knew what was getting ready to go down. I gripped the wheel, pressed the brakes firmly, and turned hard to the right in an attempt to avoid the truck and aim for the ditch. It took about 1/10th of a second to realize I wasn't going to make the ditch so I pressed the brakes even harder to help soften the blow somewhat, but the tires just locked up, and that's when I collided with the rear of the truck.
"

That was a pretty bad wreck if I may say so. I was going probably 65-70 when I hit the back of the truck which was probably going 10-15mph. Hood came through the windshield, and hit me in the face. Shattered my nose, and left cheek bone. Received some pretty nice lacerations in my left forearm from hitting the door so hard to get it open. Totalled my friend's car. Did a few thousand dollars worth of damage to the back of the truck I hit - nothing bad. Ended up with well over $16,000 worth of medical bills. Yay.

I also wrapped my last Trans Am WS6 around some trees coming home from the TTC campus after enrolling, or paying for tuition, or something - don't really remember. I just know I was going too fast for the conditions, rear end came out, and I was in the damn trees faster than I could mutter, "Oh ****." I was going 70-75 around a 35mph turn, I believe. It could have been a 50mph turn, but I'm not sure.

Both were obviously completely my fault. They were due to some poor decision making on my part, and I'm very glad I didn't hurt/kill anyone. They've definitely changed the way I drive for the better.

I decided that on my second week of driving, I knew exactly what I was doing, and I knew how to drive. I was going on an onramp, and I was doing a fairly decent speed, when the car started to slide a bit. Nothing that I would be worried about now, but at the time, I was scared. I threw the wheel around, and my car slammed into a sign pole...

This, along with the miscellaneous close-calls with the Hyundai Accent were enough to make me realize, I drove like a complete jackass. Luckily (sort of) the Hyundai was totalled, not of my own accord, and I recieved my current car (in profile). I learned a lot from the first two years of driving, and I realize that I'm still not a great driver, but I try not to do those stupid things now.

Probably doing a one wheel burnout in my 323 in the rain up to around 75mph(showing on the speedometer, I was moving at like 5mph at the start), then riding it out, having it downshift flat out(it didn't like that), and then it started turning to the right and I had to countersteer going straight. But then it fixed itself...

Also my 2 times of drifting on a rock parking lot(one of which was filmed, but it was a sucky one, check the 323 videos link in my sig).

Other than that, I haven't wrecked or broken anything on the car, or any other car.

My bro has wrecked a couple of times, but nothing serious. My parents haven't wrecked in decades, but people have wrecked into them(most recently totalling a RX-7 GSL-SE(but my dad fixed it) and a '89 MPV V6, both at the same intersection...then we got our '92 MPV the next night after the '89 was totalled, and a week later me and my bro were at the humane society for this animal camp thingy, and my mom came to pick us up and someone swerved to the right and hit my mom head on with the corner of thier Cutlass right through the bumper of the MPV(and the radiator). Fixed, ofcourse.

I do a lot of dumb things while driving, but since I'm always alert while driving and I know the limitations of my 323, I know when to not do something. :)

In my old 91 talon TSi, I was doing 125mph down a country road and had lady pull out infront of me, I locked em up and ended doing 2 360's in opposite directions followed by 2 180's, kept it in the road tho! I needed new tires after that, I had a few flat spots :D

My first car, a 1988 Accord. Driving on the highway, I was taking an exit, which was a full 360 degree overlaping exit. I was going a little faster than usual around it. Totally unaware of the black ice patch ahead. As I went over it, the back end broke off, ramming the guard rail.

I :knock on wood: haven't done anything too stupid in any of my cars, at least nothing that ended up being really bad. Probably the dumbest thing I have done was a few years ago in my 200sx Se-R when I decided to pass someone on a two lane road. Well, the car coming the other direction was a little closer than I expected. I passed the guy, no one went off the road, but I was literally within feet of hitting the oncoming car head on. It happened too quickly for me to get scared, but when I think back I realize how close I was to eating air bag.

I had a Volvo 260. Probobly the worst engine in the universe, the PRV V6.. Drove it hard and restored it, changed the top gaskets and so on.. Took it for a test drive and when I came home the engine was squirting water ewerywhere. I forgot to secure the winter-water heater properly.. The engine was close to overheating.

Oh that happened to me (and probably everyone). The person I was passing closed the gap to the person in front - I was left with the dilemma of moving into the gap and possibly clipping the first car, or passing the second car. Up a hill.

I chose to pass, changed down one more gear, then saw the headlights. I had about a quarter of a second gap from when I pulled back in completely to when the other car passed (closing speed of 130mph - I was at 70mph, he was at roughly 60mph).

Brown trousers doesn't even cover it. Chalked up to experience.

One time, while living in Phoenix, I was in a traffic jam when all of a sudden I got the explosive urge to urinate. The nearest exit was a mile and a half away and 3 lanes over (when you drive a S14 who stays in the right lane). I had nothing in the car at the time but an empty Mtn Dew can. After some thought, and the fact that I had moved maybe 20 feet in the last 10 minutes, I decided to try to blow off some in the can (probably could have filled the thing). While I was wizzing in the can I was constantly looking around to see if any semi's or large SUV's were near, as they could get a good look at my johnson. While scoping the scene I felt something warm on my wang area, when I looked down I noticed that I had missed the can's hole and had made a small yellow lake where my @SS met my Momo seat. Shocked, I stopped paying attention to what I was doing and then rear ended the person in front of me. I got the pleasure of talking to the police about the accident and then trying to explain to them why I have a half full can of piss in my car and my shorts are soggy.

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW - never drink too much caffeine before a long drive - it's a diuretic.

I learned just how serious understeer on an fwd can be in wet weather with a 93 accord. Well, I WAS hitting the gas hard the whole trip home (I was about 45 minutes past the 12:00 curfew). I also learned that it's possible for a stock accord to spin it's tires during straight line acceleration (road was almost dry).

Same car, we were having probs with the bolt on the windshield wipers the week before. It would, all of a sudden, come loose and flop all over the place at low speeds and after 50km/h, it would stay upright and not move down. Soo, I pulled out the wrench and tightened the bolt as well as I could. A week later, my friends and I went bowling. On the way home, we experienced a major thunderstorm & the damn bolt came loose again :S - 45 minutes driving AND I had to drop my friends off at their homes. That was one damn sucky late night drive.

well the worst thing that ever happened to me in a car was not caused by me but by my friend who was driving at the time. we were on our way home from a night out and i had been drinking so my friend said he would drive (it was a 1991 astra that i borrowed for a few days). big mistake. i asked him how his driving was and he said he was ok so i gave him the keys. about half way home we got stuck behind a large and very slow moving van so he decided to try and overtake, just before pulling out he went to get a lower gear and some how manages to drop from 4th to 1st. well the poor 1.3 litre astra didnt like it very much  and the entire transmission and/or engine must of locked up because next thing i know we've come to a complete stop in the middle of the road with smoke coming from the front wheels.

Locked my tires with a bad shift coming around a corner (too fast) on a twisty mountain road. Smacked into a retaining wall. Totalled Miata.

pure humiliation: on my way to the prom(in a tux) went to fast down a dirt road on my way to pick up my date (for which i was really late and shouldnt have been driving that fast) took the pops pathfinder 1 wheel off the road on a sharp left handcurve and flew into a swamp, yes a swamp. managed to escape and had to call her to pick me up, pathfinder.....gone forever. never made it to the prom.

bah, amateurs. hehehe, Humiliation is when you are gonna change the car of place and you start it and rev it up without checking that it's in 1st. bang against a lightpost -___-

Cano

other than that, and ripping off the wood imitation off the fairmont's side against a tree ( )... that's been the worse.

kinda same ting happened to a friend of mine, we were going to the movies,
me in the golf, him in his dads audi 5000
we pulled up to a stop light (a car is in front of him) and he starts reving his engine, im thinking ok, were not in front dude. light goes green and hes looking to his right at me, not in front. he goes for it and rear ends a big old buick. he tried to pull it off like no one saw and backed up, of course anybody had seen it.

i spit on a 4 door auto e36 m3 with altezzas.

it had a for sale sign in it, he was asking some rediculous price, and it was riced further than just the tails.

Nothing too serious, out on a dirt road, reversed without looking, put the valiant straight into a tree. Didn't do too much damage thankfully, dent and some serious scratches (lucky i'm getting it resprayed)

Are you ok from that AdvanR? That's pretty bad. I hope you weren't injured to badly.

Anyways, how's this for bad.

My mom owns a 2002 Acura MDX suv and a friend of ours owned a 2002 Mercedes-Benz SL500. I was in charge of going to get gas in my mom's suv. So as I was backing out of the garage, I noticed her mirror looks down at the road to make sure you know how far from the edge you were, but I couldn't see the Mercedes, because our driveway is steep and it curves. So I ended up nailing the SL. Total cost to fix was $8200 usd for the SL and $7300 for the MDX. Yeah, my dad nearly killed me.

I think I was leaned forward, so the belt did not stop my face from being shattered by the steering wheel. Severe concussion with major brain damage. I am like an 8 year old now. I dont know what would have happened if the car had an airbag, I dont think it would have been good.

I have a titanium cheekbone and a plastic eyesocket. .............Or was it the other way around?

Far better than the other way around.

The worst thing I've ever done is doze off at the wheel of my old Civic hatch. Awoke to the sounds of flying gravel with two wheels on the pavement and two wheels on the shoulder. Going about 65 mph, and did precisely what you're not supposed to do: yanked the wheel hard over. It yawed about 45 degrees but before I could countersteer enough it tripped over the offside front tire. It rolled 3-1/2 times diagonally from right-front to left-rear, before we came top rest on the roof in the ditch.

Took careful stock of my injuries (none) while studying the grass across the top of the windshield. 30 seconds later I sustained minor scalp wounds and a strained neck when I unbuckled the seatbelt, dropping like a sack of potatoes into the headliner. Somehow I hadn't figured out that the grass meant the car was shiny side down...

I've actually been in 3 rollover accidents, but that's the only one where I was driving.

Worse accident I was in was when I was 14 or 15. I was with my mom in her Dodge Intrepid. We were going down I-75 when a semi truck rear ended us and we hit the center rail. We rolled over and took out a big green road sign. Then we rolled down the enbankment. How we survived is beyond me.

I suffered a broken collar bone, I have a rod in my lower back, I have plates in my knee, I broke my arm in 2 spots and I broke my nose. Not to mention the 30 scars or so all over from glass and such.

My mom got away ok compared to me, she had a sperate shoulder and had to have some plastic surgury to fix her cheeks.

To this day I still have nightmares about it and I'm glad I had a seat belt and an airbag. They saved my life. But Intrepids aren't the safest thing in the entire world.

The truck driver suffered no injuriesm he had fallen asleep at the wheel. The police said he'd been up for alomst 30 hours. We ended up sueing his ass and winning. He lost everything and I'm glad he did. Every time I have back problems or my knee gives out I want to kick his ass. I'm sick of living my life on painkillers.

and our car was a lot worse then advanR so you know it had to be bad. I mean that accident had to be just horriable.
