What should be the next NFS title?

Well I've played every single title they've made. And I enjoyed all of them but not equally.

I would really like them to recreate Porsche Unleashed. And also I'd like them to make another Underground title. I know those times of Fast&Furious are all by but I would still love to customize the cars to the extend we were able in UG1 and UG2.

What do you think will or should be next title. If not next, what do you think which title should they bring back.
 
Porsche unleashed would be rather amazing. If not that, then High Stakes, then maybe Underground, just minus all the ricey body kits.
 
Need For Speed: The last one we ever make.

Unfortunately it's a cash cow for EA so I don't see that happening.

Atleast NFS is made by a good developer (i.e Criterion only) and is different as compared to (Insert sport title here).

I think Porsche would also be great. I had splendid time back in the day, driving in countryside with Porsche 356 and then upgrading to 914, 944 and 911. It would be great to see those cars in HD along with new Porsches.

This. Imangine that, A winding fall road track with a 356, various 911's, 959 and even a 956... That would be perfect.
 
Since NFS World is NFS U3, NFS MW (2005) and Carbon 2 fused in one. I say we have at least a new High Stakes 2, just like Hot Pursuit 2010. :sly:

i could deal with that. that was my first nfs and loved it. i just want good customization.

Than again there was cars that were modified models in High Stakes you had to buy. Maybe this time if there were to be a new one, should let us customize them with bodykits and other modifiable parts. :)

i agree. i do know its will be new EA team EA GHOST doing the next NFS with the frost bight 2 engine.
 
High Stakes, or Porsche Unleashed.... just exotic car closed-circuited racing, no open-world, no silly side tasks, luscious environments, etc. etc. And some kind of driving system that discourages bad drivers.

HP3 got this down really well. It focuses on linear racing rather than goofy perks, open-road, and emphasis on rail-riding slowdown made sure you had to learn how to drive right or else you wouldn't win. All it needs after that is to have all sorts of game modes that are great for multiplayer, again, steering away from arena-like contact sports.
 
Yeah, High Stakes pay to repair thing made me drive much much better. Also Most Wanted 1 was UG3 & Carbon was UG4 since they follow the story of the first two.

Original: All cars and track from NFS 1 through Hot Pursuit 2. No NOS, no Hot Pursuit 2010-ish "weapon", just the very NFS spirit of outrunning the cops in your favorite exotic.

Underground 3: underground 1 and 2 style cars and I woudn't even mind if they used the same maps. The biggest place to improve is the decal/vinyl editor which could/should be similar to Juiced 2.

That's the 2 I want to see either or both of 👍
 
I'm hoping for something new... and a challenging single player game that takes longer than a week to beat. The last 2 were WAY too quick for my liking.

I'd just say a remake of HP2 with updated car models and throw a touch of free roam/objective
 
A HD remake of the original Road & Track The Need for Speed, with more sports and super cars from the 80's to 2010 eras, realistic physics similar in style with the original, cockpit views, cops, traffic, point to point, circuits, a full multimedia presentation for each model professionally made by Road & Track. I will buy it in a heart beat ...
 
NFS High Stakes was the first NFS i played on PS1 and still love it. There was everything you needed. Cops, beatutiful tracks, great cars and challenging races. A remastered version in HD would be awesome.
 
Underground 3, or one where all the cars don't handle the same.
