The original form of punk is dead is what I'm saying. I listen to underground punk and foreign punk, etc. also, and I'm just saying it's not the same as it used to be.

Blink 182 and Simple Plan are not punk at all. And Dovesniper, your definition of Indie is completely wrong. Indie stands for Independent. It's not a type of music, it's how big they are and how big the record label is. Modest Mouse was Indie before they got a radio single. Get your facts straight before you go spreading false information to the easily influenced.

There is no such a thing as Indie sell out bro, you cant sell out of Indie by getting a radio single man.

I know Indie is for independent, I was commenting that most people think Indie is some sort of punk thing, so they just call it punk.
 
Bad Religion is a cool punk band. the Offspring's older stuff could be considered punk too. And Green Day. if you think about it the song minority has very "punk" lyrics.
