In regards to trading, I haven't done much trading but I didn't see any references to the actual time it occurs.

Midnight GMT, this has been covered many times, please use the search feature in future.

I did a search, lots of threads where people didn't have clue. Made me more confused than sure of the answer.

This should help...as the other person mentioned it's 12GMT

24 hours after your last trade. Midnight is false

No, it is not 24 hrs after your last trade. I know it resets at 8 pm EST now after daylight savings time started. It was 7 pm EST prior to that. If Im not mistaken, that is 12 am GMT.

I think PD changed something. I sent a car this morning at 8am CST. It is now past Midnight GMT and I just got an error? If someone can explain that I'm all ears...

Its not past midnight GMT mate..

It is 6:33pm CST. GMT is +6 from me effectively making it 12:33 GMT. Did they change my time zone or something

You still have 25 minutes from the time I posted this until midnight GMT.

Daylight savings time has screwed you up (like it did me).

Since I'm in California, does that mean the trading resets at 5:00 PM?

SO...I can send a gift at 4:00pm and then gift again at 6:00pm?

Can someone confirm this please.

It will be back to the normal times after the weekend as we GMT also change to Summer time..

Oh I feel a bit silly. I COMPLETELY gapped the daylight savings issue. I should know better as I have been in Europe during a week with the switchover. Thanks for the help!

Yea GMT changes to BST will for me in the uk.. but yea we go forward an hour. Link

What seems to happen is that you guys move from using GMT to BST, which is GMT+1. In other words, it's not the spoon that bends.

Didn't I just say we go forward an hour lmao

I was referring to this:

It will be back to the normal times after the weekend as we GMT also change to Summer time..

In other words, it will not be back to "normal" times for the people who've just entered daylight savings, as GMT does not change. The UK changes from GMT to BST, which has absolutely no effect on other timezones (Edit: well, other than them having to make a note that the UK time has changed). Just to clarify.

No we go forward an hour.. so the times for everyone else will go foward an hour back to 'normal' times people where used to... before DST took affect in other places as GT5 reset is always done by GMT..

No we go forward an hour..

Yes, agreed. You move from GMT to BST (GMT+1). In other words, your time changes, GMT doesn't. You're going an hour forward to GMT+1.

so the times for everyone else will go foward an hour back to 'normal' times people where used to...

Iff, GT5 is based on UK time, and not on GMT. GMT will still be GMT, it's merely that you guys will be GMT+1.

before DST took affect in other places as GT5 reset is always done by GMT..

If it's done by GMT, and not by UK time, nothing will change for anyone but you guys (and everyone who's changing in sync).

For everyone else it'll still be the same. It won't change simply because the UK moves into daylight savings.

lol we shall see dude. After sunday.. I doubt that the reset will become 1am for us.

Erm, I can't see any reason why the server would observe day light savings/British summer time.

The server is a UTC/GMT as such for people in the UK it will currently happen at 1AM.

why would it not??

You guys are the last to catch up for DST.

It used to be 7PM EST before our DST, and it is now 8PM EST. After BST, (+12 GMT) it will right all else in the world, and we will go back to 7PM EST trading again.
