What to buy?

Hi guys, i have around 13 million Cr. to spend on any car (i can get more if necessary) but i want a car that has fast acceleration (like say the minolta) good grip and handling with a fairly high top speed (but this isnt all that necessary). Also i find important that a car is fun to drive, not like my FGT which i find dull. Ive heard that things like the Toyota GT one is really good and also the Mercedes Sauber C9.

Thanks guys.

I always have fun in the premium Mazda 787b. Only costs 5 million or something like that.

I already have the mazda 787b and i love it but want maybe something more - similar type of car would be good though

Sauber or 905 or something if it's in the ucd or close,if not 908 perhaps?

It probably is but the gears aren't the best.

In short 905 is faster if driven correctly, the 908 is easier to handle.

The 905 is an awesome car. Buy it.

Others to consider: Bentley Speed 8, Toyota GT-One, Nissan R92CP

The 905 is a great car if tuned properly. Regardless, it's still incredibly quick.

If you can handle a slower acceleration and a 14 million credits price get the Chapparal 2J

Definitely the R92CP. That thing is an absolute monster.

The r89c because it's like the r92cp but it's slower in acceleration but the handling is better

Ι prefer the r92cp but the minolta has better handling i think.

i have been searching forthat car, along with others, for ageess in the ucd but it never turns up, its always a 10k piece of ****

are the r89c and the r92cp better than the minolta in your opinion?

Yeah because they are easier to drive then the minolta

Pescarolo C60 or Peugot 905, both of them have phenomenal handling! The 905 by FAR can out handle and perform the 908 if tuned correctly.. The Pescarolo is just a hair under the 905 as far as handling goes, but has considerably more horsepower..

The Peugeot 905 is definitely worth it. My most favourite LM car. Great handling and it is really quick; it just flows into the corners and then rockets out of them.

2J or GT-One

ended up buying 2j and gt one, 2j is rapid and toyota sounds like 🤬 haha

I like the sound of the toyota actually

I'd go with these:

Pescarolo C60 hybride (good handling)
Sauber C9 (terrible sound though)
Nissan R92 (MONSTER)

If you ever see the Nissan R89C come up then you should get it. Similar in performance terms to the Minolta but it makes for a slightly more relaxing driving experience thanks to it's 5 speed box. It will lap in similar times to the Minolta, around the Highspeed Ring and Daytona Road course it's a few tenths quicker. It also sounds quite good, Bob loves it and it's relatively cheap (for this type of car) at 3.5million.

Even although you now have the 2J, I would recommend the 2D wholeheartedly. I got one the other day and used it for the Nurburgring 4 hours where it was a joy to behold. It's about 12.4million which isn't cheap but it's worth it. The older Chapparal handles brilliantly and will lap faster than the Jaguar xj13, Ford GT40, Ford MKIV and Ferrari 330 P4. It's also very easy on tyres (I was getting 3 laps from Racing hards, competitors only got 2 laps). I also noticed that the tyres wear quite evenly on all 4 corners which means the handling doesn't go all haywire.

fair enough then :) IMHO the mazda 787b sounds rediculous

And I could do 5:50.677 at nurburgring which I did today if you got a good tune

Thanks for your detailed response, do you think the r89c is better than the r92cp? i am looking out for the r89c atm haha, just annoying sifting through all the bad cars. the 2D is much better value actually, overall i wasnt amazingly impressed with the 2J. it has great handling but acceleration isnt great and tire wear is appauling because of the sketchy braking. i might invest in a 2D then - does it handle well?

yeah thats true haha. i dont understand why they didnt put a 6 speed gearbox in that thing. that would truely make that car unstoppable.
