what tracks you hate mosts.

There are a few that bother me, mostly because there are so many tracks that are just much better in comparison...

Not a fan of London, much prefer Madrid and Rome as street circuits.

Fuji always annoyed me, I think its that half-blind uphill last corner, never feels like you really hit it right onto the long straight.

Also hate 90% of Indy roadcourse... flat as can be and the back to back hairpins, god...exiting onto turn 1 and the front straight is the only good part. I can imagine the f1 guys hated that track too. And in gt5 you already have Daytona, similar but much better.

I also can't get into monza, I like that it's included but it's almost just flat out / chicane / flat out / chicane, etc...

Tsukuba - has no redeeming value. No ambiance as Alain Prost used to say. Won't be doing any of the enduros there.

The portion of Cape Ring with the jump and loop...a gimmick. They could have kept it simple and it would be a great, realistic track.

Grand Valley. Not a terrible track, but it is over-featured in this game. It seems you must race it within every set of events...while many other tracks only get one or two races.

I HATE Rome Reverse which is funny since I love Rome normal layout. Other than that, Circuito de Madrid. Worst. Track. Ever.

I would say the broken track of complainerrrrr....oh you mean actual courses.

Well I would say that Tsukuba gets the nod for one of the most overused, short and well relatively uneventful course. Too many endurances on that little course that could, it's better for drifting than anything else. Why on earth did they include Tsukuba but not Super GT par course Twin Ring Motegi?

I hate every track that I struggled for 8 seconds to get out of the gravel and got a "next lap invalidated/short cut penalty". Short the fu ck cut!!!

Well they even included Top Gear Test Track...as an equavalent track which is also popular why would PD not?:sly:

Lol, you mean broken record right?

Tsukuba is boring and repetetive. I've hated it since GT4 after trying (and failing) the Miata enduro several times, and it hasn't gotten any better with time.

Nurburgring GP/D is one of my favorite courses, but GP/F is horrible. I can't figure out exactly why. Oh and WHY do the 4h and 24h courses skip the MB Arena and Veedol chicane?

Rome has grown on me, but I still like the old one better.

London seems like a fairly useless course, since it has no pits.

I don't particularly care for the Toscana rally course either, possibly because I just can't ever get it right.

The Daytona road course seems too narrow and fairly low-effort, like it was tacked on to the oval as an afterthought.

Nurburgring/change time/change weather it is only used for the AMG that i know of.

I want to use it online.

Tsukoba(sp?)... purely because if you don't take the last corner right you end up in the sand KR the pit. I must have pitted a trillion gimmes during the 9 hour...

I forgot to mention SSR5... it used to have great scenery, not so much now.

Oh, and Mt. Aso. I used to like it but it got ruined in the v1.06 update.

London is pointless. The full Cape Ring is a drag (although not as bad as Complex String; Periphery, however, is great). Madrid is rubbish. Rome is fine, but better backwards. Indy Road and Daytona Road, like Sebring, are boring. Eiger Nordwand is irksome, and too short (bring back Grindelwald!!!).

I actually like SSR7, in much the same way I like the Superspeedways. Bit different.

I'd rather do 24hrs of Tsukuba than 1 hr of Suzuka

Alright, to each their own, but I'll never understand that viewpoint. Suzuka is one of the world's all-time great tracks, and the Japanese GP is a true Blue Riband event because of it. I think it's a joy to drive and race on, with so many interesting passing opportunities, while Tsukuba is just boring. As a test track, it's not even that technically demanding, and while racing there the place encourages violent moves. And it's shorter than people always think, so races are over before you get a chance to really get into the race.

But that's me. :)

La Sarthe 2005. Pointless (virtually no differences in layout from the newer version), and perhaps it's the most graphically horrid circuit in the game, even worse than Trial Mountain. It looks very bad, and has got no weather or time changes. It must be from an earlier build of GT5. I bet PD put it in the game just to reach the advertised "70+ variations". A dirty move to overinflate the track number. It's not even used in A/B- spec races, which shows how much PD are proud of it.

The second one is probably Cape Ring full. It's too long and random. The problem however is not that it's too long, but that its flow doesn't match its lenght. Also it doesn't have any original or added section compared to other variations (in my opinion each variation should have its "personality"). If we see it as some kind of successor of "Complex String" from GT3, however, maybe it's not an excessively bad track.

I dislike the first half of London, I find it difficult to get those high speed corners right. The second half is fun, where you have to get around those 90 degrees street corners.

I also dislike the very last corners of Fuji, because I have a problem finding the apex in them. They always come much later than I think so I feel like an old granny slowly making my way to church on Sunday when going through those corners.

I did have some disagreements with Cape Ring full and Tsukuba, but after I found some good visual reference points I think they are both really fun to drive. I guess it's the same with London and Fuji, if I only find the reference points I need, then they'll be great to race on...

Tokyo R246 is not my favourite, but with the right car it can be fun.

Any rally track is kind of bugging me at the moment. First of all because they make my wheel shake like crazy...

>>>>> WARNING! Unappropriate joke coming up ahead. >>>>>

Don't highlight the following lines unless:

a. You think that jokes can be made of anything and that it can actually be a good way to deal with traumatic events

b. You have an urge to troll me and seeks a legitimate reason to do so.

c. You are indifferent to all sorts of human so called feelings and think that empathy is some sort of Hungarian dish.

d. You are the Stig.

e. You are drunk and think that everything around you is very funny, especially those pink elephants.

f. You think you know what the joke is and you think I ought to be ashamed of myself, and now you just have to check if you are right (which, of course you are).

Anyway, here it goes.
Start of joke:
Maybe too many players with a Driving Force GT wheel doing rally in GT5 at the same time is what caused the earthquake in Japan? End of joke.

...second of all because I'm way too slow in rally to be able to make any good times. I love making rally courses in the course creator though.

It can be used online. I know I have...

EDIT: Actually, it is awesome to use online, cause you can set all the parameters for what time of day (or night) you want and how fast you want time to progress, all the way from 1:60 (one minute racing is one hour of daylight progression) to 1:1 (one minute racing is one minute daylight progression). You can also decide if you want all rain, all sunny, or dynamic.

Trial Mountain. Might be fun in real life but its a pain in the arse with corners every 2 seconds. Don't like Autumn Ring either, it's just too boring.

Oh yeah, and Tsukuba. Boring as hell, and I still can't do 4 hours Roadster Race

The Daytona road course seems too narrow and fairly low-effort, like it was tacked on to the oval as an afterthought.

It was tacked on as an afterthought. The oval was built 1957-59 and the road course was built in 1962.

Street circuit - Rome.
I don't like the layout and looks of it. I wish it would be time change track. It would look astonishing at sunset, and I'd drive it just to take some photos.

Real track - Fuji, Daytona and Indy roadcourses
I just can't get into Fuji. No flow at all. Indy and Daytona are just too flat for me.

Original tracks - Autumn Ring
Well I can't say I hate it. I just don't race there very often.

I hated Deep Forest, SSR5, London, Tsukuba and Suzuka, but now I really love them. Oh and I loooove Mt. Aso and Toscana course creator themes.
