Top gear test track. Promises much, delivers little. Take away the cones, and the invisible walls for a start.

My likes of much hated track by the others:

-Suzuka/Fuji
-Cape Ring
-Nurb. Nord.

The hate of mine:

-Cote d' Azure (This track have no scenery at all. Plain and boring)
-All the SS track except the SSR-7. (walls everywhere :sick:)
-Trial Mountain. (Rocks...that is.. :p)

How come this amount of people dislike Suzuka & Fuji!! They're like the only track I race online.

The hate for Fuji is not that surprising. Most tracks have a rythm into which you can settle - Fuji has none. It has a nice flow until that extremely low-speed hairpin-type thingy after after the long sweeping right hander. From there it's all horribly wrong with no flow to it. It looks as if the last sector was designed by an office temp with a bad attitude.

Any part of Cape Ring that goes on the big roundabout thing and hits the jump. Its just such a ridiculous track that is so unresisting and would never be built. Also, the fact that it is right next to a 1000+ foot cliff that just has some wimpy guard rails is just so weird.

I do like the inside and the other side of cape ring. Its really just the cliff, loop, and jump.

Fuji Speedway, those last corners are really annoying.

I like all the versions of Cape Ring, though I only use the full version as a test track, and I absolutely hate the jump:irked:

Cape RIng - Too long;
Suzuka - I dislike this track, no real reason;
Rome - The GT5 version is dumb, I'd like the original GT2 version in GT5;
Deep Forest - Boring track.

Lol. :lol:
I find it amazing though. More so in online.
It will make you faster or slower. Depending what line you take.
Challenging indeed.
Just saying since most of the GTPer hate it.

I hate all the Japanese street tracks.
Especially SSR7. This track belongs in a drag racing game, not a regular racing game.

Not knocking you disliking the Track, just saying they HAD to have a Tokyo Expressway in GT5. It's a huge part of street Racing culture in japan.

My least favorite track is the Euro Top Gear Track....I would have rather had The Driving Park from past GT games or Ebisu rather than the top gear track, it's just a coned up Runway.

Truth, drag racing is the opposite intention of SS7. But what makes real Wangan racing any fun is the traffic and construction.

Edit, there is no track in gt5 that doesn't have a corner I absolutely love (except maybe SS7 which I love anyway), so it is impossible for me to hate any track.

Traffic and Construction fun for REAL Wangan racing? I don't think so....In the Past years they had to deal with those issues, but now there are Toll Roads on the Wangan. Its safer because they are so expensive that They are often less crowded than the man highways

i think SSR7 is to appeal to the "highway racers" lol u guys should look at some GT5 SSR7 Drag racing videos on youtube ha ha "K20 Civic vs challenger with mods"

Have you seen Chiba from Option Videos stuff? Smokey doing runs on the Wangan is crazy, but I think he got up to 200 in Europe in a G27 tuned with a RB engine.....

Seriously!! Why is all there so much hate for Cape Ring?
While i admit the full course is a bit too long, i think the periphery layout is a brilliant and fast flowing circuit, and i really enjoy testing car set-ups on the track.

Everyone to their own i guess.

Cape Ring is awesome and it is a great test for a car.

The only track I don't like is Top Gear while racing other people. I only like it when its only you there.

I agree, and I feel the same about Nurburgring Nordschleife. They are not meant to hold races with a dozen cars.

I can deal with most tracks but I dispise Fuji. I can't seem to grasp the decreasing radius turns and it's so wide that online racers take several different lines and collide mid corner. I usually race street cars though so maybe it's more fun in race cars.
