What TV shows do you despise?

No, I'm not going to put it out. This bottle is filled with cold water to drink when our throats get dry from muttering under our breath.

Maybe you don't want to appear prejudiced. However, you are making it difficult to see things any other way.
Maybe you have had bad experiences with people that have happened to be Jewish.
You I spend the majority of my time around Jewish folk. I even understands some Yiddish. For the most part you can't look at someone and see that they are Jewish. Nowhere near as easily as you can pick me out of a group of white dudes.
I guess that the question that begs asking is this; What did you do to provoke them into treating you badly?
As I have said before, For the most part, Hate is a wasted emotion. It doesn't bother the people you hate unless you add in violence. It's just an insidious worm that feeds on ignorance, and makes you mad at people you don't know for reasons you can't define.

I hate the Irish.

Seinfeld is one of my favorite shows. It comes on 4 times a day now.
 
those were the good old days. I used to be able to watch it 3 times a day. now its on only once a day. and they only show the old unfunny episodes. seinfeld was pretty bad for the first few seasons. and jerry had a mullet and tight pants, haha.

It's more of an education thing - and I don't condone hating anyone based on their culture - but many Jewish people grow up in a world which is sheltered from most other people. Because of this, many Jewish people share the same political views, heritage, and many times life experiences with each other to a point where they can relate only to each other. Several Jewish people in my office went to Jewish private schools until college at which point they found small Jewish liberal arts schools (I can't think of the name of the big one (in Minnesota - is it Carleton? EDIT - Bemidji!), right now, but I'm sure you know it, advanR). Two or three of them have flat out told me that this office is their first experience working with a minority group. I don't form an opinion about that, but I think it's fairly clear to see some truth in the statements above from that. Jews are no longer a culture oppressed, and they certainly no longer act like it. This is seen as offensive to some.
 
Thats a good point. I dont think I have thought of it that way before. The isolation thing could be part of it.

I just dont have this whole thing figured out yet. You know I am young. I just really dont agree with what Israel does. I think they sometimes like to act like the victims, which also doesnt appeal to me.

Other than that there is Jerry Springer, Howard Stern, Seinfeld really introduced alot of obscene things to TV, Ariel Hitler, Hitler was actually possibly jewish himself, Donald Trump, Adam Sandler(putting out like 3 horrible movies a year with the primary objective of making money. IMO), Winona Ryder.

EDIT: The director and i think technical consultant of the fast and the furious was jewish. I will probably think of more repulsive people later. These are just some that came to mind.

I dont want to just name names, because there are billions of people in the world. And Im sure someone could name hundreds of disguisting people of other races.

I live in a stupid suburban town where people are wealthy and the kids have no respect. All through highschool, the 2 main kids dressing up like they were gangsters, wearing gold and baggy pants, starting fights with people, happened to be jewish. They are the kind of kids that think they are really tough. Also of the other kids many of the cliques are headed by jewish people. They are really pretentious.

I just purchased an 1988 M3 from a jewish salesman. He lied about a few things and I felt like I was being screwed through the whole deal. (i think overall its a good car, but if they didnt lie the car would be worth considerably less).

Jewish people have a lot of jobs in hollywood and TV. Behind the scenes. (not a jewish american conspiracy theory, but controlling news is not out of possibility.)

Oh well. Maybe it is Israelis for the most part I have a problem with. Israeli aggression. One sidedness by many of the people and politicans. (I have a lot of respect for Shimon Peres. In debates he has had very good things to say. He sees both sides equally) Maybe most of the things I base my opinion on Israelis on is propoganda. I dont really trust news sources, but the things I speak of are specials on Public Television.

I want to take back the statement "I hate jews". Hate is a strong word. I dislike most, but do not hate. I am just used to describing my feelings too loosely. Im sorry for saying that I hate them, and I didnt mean it.

I hate any show with Andy Dick on it. His Jokes are lame and he is just not funny. Other shows that are highly disturbing to me include:
brainwashing shows for toddlers
John Edwards-Can we say Fraud?
any reality tv show
Springer-all that ever happens on that show is fights
Soap Operas-honestly who watches such things?
The Weakest Link-The host is really annoying but at least they canned that Harry Potter lookalike.

Thats it for my ranting.
 
This is ****ing incredible. Nobody is going to call Advan on his comment "I hate Jews." And even worse, people commiserate with him and help him justify it. That's pretty two faced and pathetic.

And the fact that is has somehow slid by without even one comment aside from me really makes me wonder about the judgement of some members whom I thought I respected.

Oh, and, uh, I normally would attack him for his views, but his "I don't like Jews" is a personal statement that he doesn't like Jews, whereas "Arabs are fanatics" is a statement in which somebody equates one group of people with something totally different. This time it's not a double standard, it's a different category. Is it right for him to hate based on religion? In nearly no circumstances. Is it my business if he personally hates Jews? No also.

anti semite? i would like to reference the episode of seinfeld where uncle leo calls everyone an anti semite. its humorous to jerry, also to me. you would just like to classify me as that.

i would also like to ask why the term "anti semite" is used. why not just say i have a distaste towards jewish people. why use the term jewish people obviously use to classify people they suspect of not liking them.

there are quite a few comments by other people. they just arent pure hate towards me like yours is. go back and read. i also stated twice i was sorry for saying i hated jews.

i dont hate based on religion. my opinion of people is based on each individual person. i am aware of my past experiences though. so i expect most jews to act the same. again, maybe a jewish gene, i dont know. but things are different about all people besides the physical differences.

I think there is a whole spectrum of many things. hatred towards a race also. Hatred including violent crimes against a race at one end. Kind of having the opinion that a few people of a race are wacko at the other. My dislike for some jews is not based on the fact that they are jewish. it is based on what they do, just like everyone else. i just find i dislike quite a bit of jewish people. i attribute this to possibly a difference in genes. maybe it isnt. maybe i have just had a few too many bad experiences with people. my experiences are definately a small sample size of the millions of jews on this planet. so maybe the under a hundred people i have problems with are just the .00001% of jews that have probelms with people. If you think this is true, say it. but dont call me a bigot or a jew hater (anti-semite).

i must let you know, if you think i am wrong on ANY subject, PROVE ME WRONG. I generally try to stand where i stand on issues, but my mind is open, and if you have reliable information telling me that the other millions of jewish people are great people, let me in on it.

I didnt appologize like a coward once he asked why i said it. I try and stand by my opinions unless someone can convince me otherwise. after many responses of me explaining my feelings, I restated my feelings for jewish folk by stating hate is a strong word. saying i didnt mean hate, but had a dislike towards most because of my experiences.

I dont know how familiar with english you are, but the sorry part would apply to "finding a reason to hate me". I also dont really know if milefile is jewish. I just assumed it from the way he felt so offended by my posts. Others havent seemed to have much of a problem with them because my opinions have base, and they are just that, opinions. Im not coming here and saying "jews are ****ing trash, they are the scum of the earth." I also dont really appear to be a skin head or sheeted night based on my posts. Maybe he isnt, like i said i have no problem with him anyways until he does or says something to that i really think is wrong. ....just like any other person. ....any race.

I actually know volvos. I like the s80 and c70 quite a bit. Im trying to convince my mother to get a c70 rather than some sort fo SUV.

I'm glad I disappeared for a few days.

While I relish differing veiwpoints, I'm not going to flip out about advanR's hating of Jews. Seriously! But I'll say these two things:

You'll never hear a bunch of Jews complaining that Christians are holding the rest of all the money.

You'll never hear a bunch of Jews complaining that Christians are actors in the other 90% of television and movies.

Whoopedydoo, a Jew sold you a lemon...I'm not angry at black people because I bought an Eagle Talon from a black man, and that car became a piece of junk.

Look, if you don't like TV...shut it off. Nobody's forcing you to watch it...read a book. Maybe something besides The Turner Diaries.

Thank you. I couldn't resist.

I forced myself to watch an episode of Trading Spaces, and I realized that it was only useful to watch the last 5 minutes, when they show the progression from the old style of room to the newly designed one. That's the only intersting part of the show.

I dislike many of the changes made on a budget, besides, I usually put together one part of a room at a time, so it's a pointless show to me.
