What wheel to get?

I'm after getting a wheel but don't know which one to get but I don't want to get an expensive one, does anyone recommend any others?

Your best bet would be to do a search for a topic that covers it. If you can't find any useful information, then just look around the web for GT5 driving wheels and read the reviews on it. People wont lie. That's what I've been doing and so far the best one I've seen for a reasonable price is the Logitech Driving Force GT.

I'm looking to get a wheel too. Heard good things about the DFGT from people on my friends list that have that particular one. Other people have the G27 but I don't want to spend that much on a wheel. I found the DFGT on Amazon for 130 bucks and free shipping.

DFGT is quite cheap, you can buy a new one for about $130 or probably get a cheaper used one off of Ebay. It works well and it's easy to use. Fanatec's Porsche wheels look nice too, although you can't change their configurations in GT5.

I'm highly fearful of used electronics off of eBay. I've gotten crappy stuff so many times from there that are used electronics.

DFGT user here. Got one brand new for $130, last one in my county a couple months ago. Totally worth it. A few hours with an old gas BBQ, some scrap sheet metal, $2 worth of hardware and an old Toyota MR2 seat has me a decent (read: functional) cockpit. it's not compact, but it works well for me. The DFGT is the best steering wheel for the least amount of money that is supported for GT5.

Brought my new DFGT home last night. Been waiting since they went out of stock in Aust. just after GT5's release. Will never go back to a DS3.

Word to the wise though.Go back to the amateur series to learn how to drive again....

Yeah. The PSN outage was probably a blessing in disguise for me last night. My arms are pretty sore this morning. Amazing how bumpy ripple strips are as translated by the force feedback.

Willing to be corrected, but I think the difference is the extra menu buttons on the wheel which allow live adjustment of TC etc. Probably going to be amazing for wet races (or tired/drunk races).

DFGT is an awesome wheel.
I highly recommend it.
