The Devil drives a Lambo. Jesus drives a Porsche or Ferrari so he could chase the devil.

Wait a minute, I think it's a Civic equipped with NAWWWWS to chase the devil

No, driving a Civic equipped with NAWWWWS is damnation reserved for the worst of sinners.

So true....so true.
I think Jesus would drive a black and red Skyline while the Devil chased him in his pink Vitz(Yaris).

This is actually an interesting topic.

In Jesus time (for those that don't believe, 2000 years ago) the fastest mode of transport was by horse or camel. Beast of burden if you will.

Yet Jesus chose to walk nearly everywhere. Did he walk because he felt animals are more than simple load carrying creatures? Or did he walk as a way to meet people? Or as a servant of God, did he walk as an impoverished erson is forced to. If only to show that he was no better than the regular guy?

In this day and age, I believe the Beast of Burden has evolved into the Minivan. Now some will argue that the SUV is. I disagree, as carting around a family exudes more of a toll on a 4 cylinder than it would on a 6, 8 or 10 Cylinder you find in the SUV's.

So, do I think that Jesus would drive a Minivan? Probably not. He's not likely to have a family or much in the way of provisions to carry with him. Where would his disciples ride? Given his previous notion for 12 disciples, the new minivan's can't carry that many. So should he drive a Chevy Van? Those can carry 12 people comfortably. But we're back to the large fuel consuming engine.

The underlying essence of Jesus time here on earth was to live as a man. No better and no worse than the people he was trying to save. (please let's not deviate into a religious argument) So it's not likely that he'd pack the team into an RV.

My thoughts are that Jesus would never drive. He'd walk or hitch a ride. What about his 12 disciples? They gonna hide in teh bushes and pop out as soon as someone stops?

So if we expand this further, would Jesus access the internet? How would he deal with Technology? He can pop up a web cam, and have his own website. People can convert by the millions. Would Jesus do a Barbara Walters special? Instead of word of mouth, he'd reach everybody on the face of the earth in nearly one fell swoop.

Of course, this is assuming the Jesus would make his presence known in U.S. A pretty wild assumption there.

Jesus often sent his disciples out into the lands to start churches and minister to people. Would he hand them a laptop and a cell phone and send them on their way?

Interesting thoughts when you go beyond a simple car choice.

Of course this begs the question, when he chose a car, would he by it through eBay?

(time to move this to the opinions forum?)

Jesus was a tradesman, so he'd drive a ute, have a dog named blue and a bumper sticker saying 'miracle men drive utes' or something similar. Of course, he'd have to be aussie :)

Per the bible, "They came together in one accord."

Per Mark Cohn, God drives a "Silver Thunderbird."
You can keep your Eldorados, and the foreign cars absurd.
If there's a God in heaven, He drives a Silver Thunderbird.
