I was just thinking earlier tonight, what would life be like if certain gens of cars didn't exist, or if a type of car started with a later generation or never at all?
Take the beginning of the muscle car era. Say the "ones that started it" were never built. Would we have pony cars today? Would the Camaro/Mustang/Challenger rivalries ever existed? What if the first RX7 was never made? What if the R35 GTR was its own first gen? If the AC Cobra was never designed, would we have the Viper today? What if Ford bought Ferrari in the 60s? What if the Corvettes first gen was the C4? What if Toyota never built the Supra?
I think it would be interesting to see what you guys have to say. Its always cool to speculate what could have happened if somethig went differently. Can you imagine what life would be like?
