I have stopped playing GT5 for about 2 months now and was thinkıng what would make me come back to playing it once again as my main racing game, Since this game was released I was very dissapointed that the old tracks were not in the game and also no modern RUF premium cars. I would be over the moon if they added Porsche cars, like Turn 10 they could pay EA money to have the license to have them. I thought to myself that maybe if PD had enough time they would have included them as the game was not 100% finished in my opinion when it was released.

What are your thoughts I am interested to find out?

The sound of cars for me is also an issue but I can do without as that would probably be to difficult for them to fix for GT5, maybe in GT6 the sound will be more realistic

A while ago I stopped playing GT5 and started playing TDU2, it quite cached me because of the free roam and some cars that GT does not have like the Pagani Zonda Cinque, Ariel Atom, Audi RS5, Alfa Mito, Gumpert Apollo, Koeninsseggs, etc. Then an update was relased and I came back to GT5.

When I first bought GT5 I was disappointed because of the standard cars that came straight out of GT4, I hate the contrast between the standard and the premium cars, its just to big. I was also disappointed because they removed my 2 favourite circuit Citta d' Aria and both Paris circuits :banghead:

2 months? Have you played with the Spec 2.0 update?

I played GT5 with spec 2.0 for a while and stopped playing after last DLC that brought the Aventador.

I turned to Forza 4 mainly because of choice of cars and also because of the sound of them too, now with Porsche on it's way to forza I don't see any reason for me to come back to GT5. I feel kinda sad about it as I made alot of friends on GT5 and also because I have the G25 which unfortunately cannot use on xbox and will have to buy the Fanatec GT2 because it is compatible with all systems I don't know why I did'nt get that in the first place.

I never stopped. Probably won't until the next GTA, and even then I'll still play on weekends.

Livery editor and more race cars with a better AI system with more realistic reactions would keep me playing longer.

I never stopped. I don't see why I would Even though I've played this game since release there are still some cars I haven't tuned, setup and raced online. Obviously you're still interested in the game since you visit these forums so maybe that other game you talked about doesn't have enough features to hold your attention.

I've never really stopped playing, until something outside of GT5 stops me, such as school work. That said, I don't play for a really long time. You get bored after about 45 minutes of doing the same thing over and over again.

Some good DLC like a classic GT track pack or a classic GT car pack as well as some features from previous GT's that were taken out like the event generator

I can't think of the last time I played GT5 for anything more than doing some Photomode stuff (maybe it was racing online with a friend, well over a month ago), but I think a sizeable Classic Track Pack would drag me back, as a lot of old favourites went missing in 5. Barring that, any of my most-wanted tracks popping up would get me back into seriously playing, or an incredibly strong car DLC pack. But considering the past packs, I don't have much hope for the latter.

Oh, moving back to the old idea of racing with both A and B spec in a single race would get me back, but I realize that won't happen (and as such, a few races will forever sit unfinished).

I go onto the forza planet forums every now and then and also check here hoping to see some news on some new DLC or an update for GT5.

I played GT5 since release but I feel that PD has not given enough content for me to be occupied wıth such as the older tracks and for me the most important thing is Porsche cars, you cant have a racing game without Porsche, PD should pay EA for the sub-license its not like they dont make enough money. I'm sure that if PD had a DLC of 30 Porsche cars most of the GT5 community would buy it, Would that ever happen? Someone should ask Mr. Kazunori what he thinks about FM4 getting Porsche and if it could be a possibility for them to also get the same deal.
