Didn't find any thread on this...

For me it would have:

- A 1500+hp V12 engine:D
- A six-speed transmission, either fully manual or a manumatic
- A similar amount of exhaust sound tuning as an LFA
- The same amount of engineering which makes the GT-R so unbelievably quick for its specifications
- A weight of 1100kg or less
- To be practical for everyday usage
- Generate as much downforce as possible with active aero drag reduction for top-end speed.
- Come with highly advanced driving aids, but either as an option, or standard with the ability to turn them off as the driver prefers.
- Would have to be a pure eyegasm, eargasm and drivegasm:sly:

But most importantly

Allowed to be painted Chameleon Orange:lol:

EDIT: Something I drew up in paint, which fits almost every description of mine, though the aero needs a LOT of work. And the styling may be a bit off:guilty:

I don't have an ultimate vehicle. If I did it would be a Zonda R-F40-250GTO-'67 mustang-Huayra mutant thing. Is that possible?

2,000 HP twin-turbo Mercury 1350 engine, fully independent suspension, 20" travel all around, 66" terra tires, two-speed Dual-clutch transmission, fiberglass replica GT-R body in Calsonic livery with production headlights and taillights, and the chance to make Tom Meents look like an idiot.

In other words, this.

Mercedes Benz E55/63 AMG. Fast as hell, four doors, and a big boot so I can haul the family and a bunch of stuff as well as copious amounts of ass.

Well, without launching into some rambling monologue, I'll borrow a Jaguar marketing phrase and say that the ultimate car needs "Grace, Pace, & Space". In that order. So I submit, in no particular order, the following for your consideration:

Jaguar XKR:

BMW 850ci:

Subaru SVX:

Rover 800:

Mercedes SL-55 AMG:

Maserati GranTurismo S:

Ferrari 550 Maranello:

Aston-Martin DBS:

There, somewhere in a combination of the above mentioned, lies the 'ultimate' car!👍

Depending on the definition of "ultimate" either:

More speed and handling then you could legally use on public roads, space for the dog, luggage, friends, etc and plenty of roof space for a rack to hold bikes and boats. And they do all that in luxury. 👍

Audi gets a little bump for having AWD in the winter, but the CTS has the better looks, sound, RWD hoonage potential and a significantly lower price tag. Decisions..

Any postwar Cadillac...especially convertibles. There's probably no picture on the 'net that will do these cars any justice, so you'll have to stumble upon one at a museum or car show. What makes them special? Timelessness.

From now until the end of time these cars (and many postwar American machines) will turn every head going down the street. You'll think it's beautiful when you're in your 20's and when you're 80 your children will fight over who gets it inherit it. They're that nice.

I'd even go so far as to say that these cars have a better build quality and interior than many cars today. Once upon a time, believe it or not, these were the cars people aspired to own and it's hard not to see why when it's parked in front of you. Gorgeous cars hand made by talented craftsmen as opposed to the manufactured junk slapped together by 'workers' and called a Cadillac today.

It may or may not be the 'ultimate car', but these cars would definitely be on my short list. If I won the lotto or have a rich relative I don't know about keel over - one of these would be in my garage. No hesitation.

I saw an AMAZING caddy today!!! Not a convertible though. More of the 50s chrome and fins era... i melted a little inside at how epic it was, driving through Edinburgh city centre. And it was painted in what gt5land would have as reflex spice. I am soo annoyed i didnt get the chance for a picture though. :-(

Two seats, convertible, trunk big enough to bring home a weekly grocery shopping, daily driveable fuel economy, cheap to maintain and fun to drive without a bone breaking ride. Oh! Hello Mr. Mx-5, I didn't see you there!

If money was no object I would like a Viper RT-10 tho. And I've always thought a mid engined, RWD V10 Dodge Caravan would be a laugh.. But keep the engine low enough to still allow me to load sheets of drywall into the back. A Caravan SRT-10 if you will. Dodge!! Are you listening to me??? My taxes kept you from going out of business, now do as I say and build me said vehicle!

Wouldn't you rather have the (prototype) M8 and CLK Black? Better versions of those two, and would make an ultimate car even more ultimate.

You mustn't be afraid to dream bigger.

After all, a vehicle is a vehicle.

Well, the M8, as nice as a car as it is, doesn't quite have the natural aesthetic that the 850ci does with all the extra vents and scoops. I think maybe the upgraded powerplant in an 850ci would've been cool though. It's largely the same with the Black Series; even though they may look meaner and go faster, I find the original ones more pleasing to behold, and they're still fast enough for my purposes!:)

Both the pictures of Famine and vinny32 are obviously fake. In space there is no air to diffuse the light so the areas covered by shadows should be pitch black, and having no detail. So I call shenanigans.

On topic:

One car sums it up for me... (You guessed it :))

800px-Porsche_Carrera_GT_-_Goodwood_Breakfast_Club_July_2008.jpg

Beautiful sounding V10 engine (although a V12 would also suffice), powerful, (relatively) lightweight, monocoque chassis, inboard suspension, 6 speed manual (with 3 pedals 👍), amazing looks.

It pretty much ticks all the boxes for me. Now I just need to start saving...

Diffract, and tell that to Atlantis.

Anyway, Daedalus is faster than the Death Star (Asgard hyperdrives), better looking, better armed (Asgard weapons, Ancient drones, rail guns), better defended (Asgard shielding, not requiring of a separate base on a forest moon) and has Asgard beaming technology and Ancient cloaking technology. You don't need to bullseye wump rats - beam a Mark X Gatebuster onto the Death Star, beam out and you're gone.

I'm pretty obvious. A BMW M5... Why? That's because it's powerfull but not too much, it handles like a small saloon despite it's weight. It also has an extra 2 doors and a massive boot. It is very comfortable for a long journey and in the history of its design, it has always been a very good looking cars. In other words, it has a balance of between aggresiveness and subtlety. My ultimate vehicle of all time - BMW M5!

Golf Mk1 GTI or Datsun 240Z!

And the one that's OBVIOUSLY hand-drawn you don't call out?

My ultimate would be either the '68 or '69 Dodge Charger. It's a car I've always been in love with, and it's a car I can actually see myself owning in the future. Thanks to their massive popularity back in the day, thousands upon thousands of them were manufactured and you can pick one up today for as little as $25,000. We'll see how things go in later life, but that's the dream.

Ill be taking a 930 with a gigantic turbo, car making around 550 HP,Fuchs or RUF wheels, sticky tires and a good suspension. Newer interior with an integrated roll cage. Id daily drive the hell outta that

A black Lancer Evolution V which could perform like the "everything but weight reduction and engine tuning" legend of GT2
