This has proven very popular on another forum so lets try it here. I basically post up some variations of one car and you say which one(s) You would prefer. To start, Lets begin with Mustangs,

Saleen S281

Shelby Cobra GT500KR

Roush 427R

Foose Stallion

Post Away.

I'll go with the Roush.

The Saleen looks dumb as a Police car, Foose is a sellout and the Shelby just doesn't do it for me.

I'd probably take the Roush.

Both the Foose and the Saleen were created for people with more money than sense ("I have a bunch of money to spend on a sports car, how about I just get a Mustang instead of something legitimate?"). Doubtless: the Saleen is the best looking, except from the very back. The Foose Stallion is by far one of the ugliest pre-packaged tuner Mustangs you can buy and you're not paying for much except the name either.

The Shelby is vastly overweight, but it's also overpowered so I guess I can forgive it. I'm tempted by the KR because it's rare (limited production to 1000 units) and extremely powerful, so it would be somewhat of a collector's piece. But for that reason I couldn't really see myself taking it out day to day or even to a racetrack. It's also far and away the priciest of the four (I've heard tell MSRP is $79,999 US and I'm almost certain its rarity will score dealer markups probably all the way to six figures).

Now, the Roush speaks to me -- enough power, not too much; aggressive styling, but not too aggressive (ditch the stripes and wing from the OP picture, however); and certainly handles better than about any tuner Mustang you can buy. For every Roush I see on the road I see about five Saleens, so they're rare, but not THAT rare. I could definitely live with it.

Too bad you left off my most favoritest tuner Mustang ever...

Probaly the GT500KR, but only if an aftermarket company will give me IRS to cope with the power. The GT500 name is legend, hence why I chose it.

I don't really like Mustangs a lot, but I guess this one is worth a mention....

Steeda QS6 Mustang

I'll go with the Roush.

Not that it is, this is just one of two custom made for "Transformers". And what do mean by Foose is a sellout?

@Muzaffar Musa: Never seen that mustang before.

The S281 looks sharp but tacky all the same, the GT500KR is awesome, the 427R I have never seen before, as well as the MRT Interceptor and the Steeda QS6, and the Foose Stallion looks too much like the modern Eleanor, from the Gone in Sixty Seconds remake.

I'd wait for the new Chevrolet Camaro, No one knows what Chrysler would exactly do to the Challenger, and the Charger is a bit of a disappointment, considering its lineage.

In all seriousness, however, probably the GT500KR. Was the S281 ever offered in a police scheme?

I'd have the Saleen, but I would rather have the (spin-off) Parneli Jones edition:

Nope, There were two custom made for the movie "Transformers" and they were out fitted with the stuff you see on police cruisers.

Saleen, as I recall, offers an "Interceptor" edition of the S281 that comes with all of the kit as seen on the Barricade car, but I think its only sold as a solid color... But I think I'm mistaken. Actually, I'm pretty sure of it.

Still, I'd rather have the "H302" model. I like my engines without forced induction, and I like the "classic" look they have as well.

Wow, load of responses. I know you guys have favorites not listed, but I kindly would like to suggest that you guys stick to the cars I post please.

Now we'll do Corvettes and in particular, the C6:

Callaway C16

Thought not.

The Geiger looks gorgeous from this angle, but the Callaway's design focuses more on the slick body lines. I'd take the Geiger, though. The Lingenfelter seems a bit tame compared to the former and has none of the grace of the latter.

Between the Mustangs I'll take the regular GT premium and save the $$$.

I wanna go with Deutschman's work to support the home team, but that Callaway is hideous. Geiger for style points.

However, the Corvette has this negative stigma in my mind for being a poor-handling muscle car that can go one direction, and that's straight. I know the newest Corvettes are very respectable track cars, but I just can't get myself to respect them anyways. They're the total opposite of what I consider a good sports car.

And the Mustangs, well it seems that they need to be thrown immense amounts of horsepower to be good at anything. Remove the American patriotism and they're really porky cars that can't manage themselves.

.

Oh man they are great on the track. I went with my friend to an autocross with his Z06 and he was the fourth fastest that day and there were two full on SCCA prepped cars, RX7 and 360 modena. He wasnt far behind either. Riding a lap in that car and I was sold on how great a car they are.

Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR

Again, I'm aware that there may be some you like that aren't on the list, but I ask that people stick with the cars I post.

@TopHat: What in hell are you talking about?
