I kinda like seeing what ideas others may like on the topic car. Just picking between a couple pics doesnt really spur great conversation.

I agree that it would be better to just give a general name (Viper, Vette, etc) and allow people to give their own versions that they like.

ACR or Mopar... which to select...

Mopar could be better for serviceability, and its more conservative appearance (probably not) is appealing for the, 'inconspicuous' driver (again, probably not), but the ACR is definitely the car I'd want on the track.

Then again, that is what the Hennessey is for. I'd still take the ACR, inless the Mopar car has a rear wing.

Ill take this one..:sly:

I don't mind if someone says something like "Out of those, I'd pick that one, but I really would like to have this" as I've already stated that some may not like what I post, Just posts that say "None, I'll take this" are what I'm reffering to when I say "Stick to what I post".

Not that it is, this is just one of two custom made for "Transformers". And what do mean by Foose is a sellout?

...
Well, way to post an image of a car that doesn't even represent what the car is. 👍

As for Foose being a sellout, I lost all respect for him when he did that stupid show where they 'steal' people's cars to restore them. Overhaulin' I think it's called. Cheese-on-toast.

And, for the Corvettes I'll have: the Lingenfilter.

And for the Vipers I'll have: the Hennessey.

Are you going to do any non-American cars?

Give me the Mopar one, or at least the SRT-10 ACR in that color scheme.

The Henessey one would be awesome if the owner wasn't just above a con-artist. Texans are the only folks who actually do good business with the guy, and that's on a so-so basis.

 What are you talking about? I don't see anyone fusing about it. Everyone knows "what the car is" so whats the big deal?

Oh, I remember that show. It was pointless, along with the other crap shown on speed.

I will.

Well you could have meant the Transformers version of the car :dunce: in any case here's a pic of the real thing:

Oh. When I posted it, it was meant as "the car that was in this movie" not as "This version right here".

'Stang:Roush easy
'Vette: Lingenfelter for the power but the Geiger C6 for looks
Viper: ACR just because of all the suspension and downforce upgrades.

NOw we do Japanese cars, starting with the Nissan Z:

Um, definitely the Saleen S281.

:p

I pick the Foosie. I like its classic/modern feel, which is what this car was made for.

How bout the 280Z?

Yeah, 240Z/280Z sort of looked OK, but in the exact same time period we had more powerful better looking Torana 6cyls. That's tough for the old Zs to compete with where I'm concerned.

You know, the Nissan Z list is missing a lot of good cars like.....
Opera Performance 350Z

Tommy Kaira Z

and several others. But my choice would always be that Tommy Kaira Z. ;) :D
Sorry RACECAR for ruining your thread..... :guilty:

ITs cool. If I would have known about those cars, I would've have wasted no time in putting them up. And hell, I didn't even know Tommy Kaira still tunes Nissans so thats news to me.

For the Z-Cars, probably the Amuse or the Nismo (leaning towards the Amuse) from the first list, but I would take the Tommy Kaira Z over either. That's quite a discovery, that last car.
