Whatever Happened To the Route X Variation?

Speaking as an experienced WipEout veteran then yeah I'd be totally up for that track. However in GT not so much.

Exactly. Wipeout. Video game material, not simulation. I had different expectations for the REAL driving simulator.

Looking forward to Photomode analysis in this thread for what, if anything, has been modelled in the middle of this track on GT Sport!

I've looked around a bit on the track in photomode, pretty impressed by all the extra work they put in like the proper airport an such.. As far as for the alternate stage route X, the polish roadworks are gone and the track looks actually driveable without any pillars in the way! In the half tunnel corners, the "end of cant" signs are still modeled and inbetween the 2 corners I think I see a marshall's cabine there if I'm not mistaken?

The marshall post is especially intriguing. Was that present in GT5 and 6? I don’t think it was.
