What ever happened to the GTO's in the first GT? They just kinda disappeared. I remember back in the good ol' days me and my GTO used to kick some serious ***

I used the race car. But I liked the look of the older ones better. And they left out the race car. They could hav put it in for one of the more useless cars like one of the too many lancers. There are like 15

I liked the look of the older ones better too. And yes, the LM edition would had been nice to have, even if it it doesn't exist in real life.

Umm, that would be "The Judge". 429 ci, later 455 ci (instead of the usual 400 ci) version, with Ram Air intake.

Now, you want to talk about a natural drifter! Power oversteer is a way of life in those cars.

Heh, I just know a lot of cars, aircraft. etc. Plus, having been alive when those cars were new makes it easier to remember them!

My buddy had one in high school (early 80's). 429 ci Ram Air, close-ratio Hurst 4 speed, 4.13 LSD rear. Even with 100,000 miles on it, we could do a burnout, and run through all four gears in less than a car length. It was quick but handled like crapola.

for cars to drift with in GT3...

ae86 - i dont think i have to go on about this one

corvette z06 - vettes are always great drifters

altezza rs200 - i seen videos of these drifting in real life...so i tried it on GT3. drifting car confirmed

mazda rx-7 type rz - rotary power!

mustang cobra r - who said ford sucks!??! let me at em!!

there are many more cars that are good. RR is the way to go for drifting (obviously) but if you are skilled and you know how to drift FF cars....do it! i loved the GD2 video with the integra type r 98 spec drifting around trial mountain. props to bryan on that one.

couple things are a must...

1) get sim tires for 400 or less hp cars
(for more...use normal tires)

2) turn ASM and TCS down to zer0
(cars with helacious amounts of hp need a lil bit of TCS but never ASM)

3) if possible...get NA tune instead of turbo upgrade
(you will need the torque to maintain the drift and the lag and boost of a turbo can make it hard to balance the car while sideways.)

4) be EASY on the throttle in gears 1 and two. its very touchy. when you get into high speed turns that require you to be in 3 and 4th gear...you can use more throttle.

5)dont get discouraged at first. with a lil bit of time (1 week approx) and patience...you will be drifting pretty well and will most likely be addicted to it.

now im going to go drift around with my crazy ass r32 . 700+ hp drifter?? ima kick my own ass when im done.

i got some replays of me drifting if anybody with a sharkport would like em. im not that great and i fock up a bit but i got some good stuff as of late. email me at bingpwr@hotmail.com and put in your requests.
