The Elise is not an option, I'm playing S2U right now, and the best car you can buy is basically the Honda S2000. It's a little more of a handful than the other FF cars though.
You get the RX-8 "MadMike" car very soon after though, so you don't need to bother upgrading your first car too much if you don't want to spend money on it.
I know that, the other starter cars are FF.Lol. An S2000 is more of a handful because it's FR mate.![]()
Am I right in thinking you get $20,000 for aceing the preliminary test? I'm hoping that between that and the $20,000 bonus for having a Shift 1 save I can afford the Merc 190E. That would just make my day.
Failing that, I'll probably get an Escort Cosworth and tune it a bit. It's an old friend that's served me well.
The MB 190E and Cosworth are retro cars. hence you can't get them at the beginning, because you need to buy a "modern c"-class car.
I got 20,000 from the first event yes, but I don't know if you really get any less from not acing the test since the cheapest car you can buy is only a few thousand less than the S2000, which cost 19,600.
it's all personal reference, using a MX5 right now and it's a nifty little thing.
Wait, so what do I have to buy to get the Alfa, Nissan and Lambo?Buying it new gives you access to the free Alfa Romeo, Nissan, and Lamborghini. The Nissan for me was the starter car, you spend $0 to buy a car, so you just dump about 10k into the Nissan and I blew through the competitions without a problem. I made a mil before I had to buy a car.
I'm guessing it was some sort of pre order bonus, or online pass or something like that.Wait, so what do I have to buy to get the Alfa, Nissan and Lambo?
Ok, thanks m8I'm guessing it was some sort of pre order bonus, or online pass or something like that.
Did some research and there was a limited edition you could get that gave you access to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, Nissan Silvia Spec-R and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and 40 new events.
