Whats a good car to start out with on SHift 2?

Havent played the game but wondering from those that have it what is a good car to start out with on SHift 2?

I won't have my copy 'til much later tonight, but I'm hoping the Lotus Elise is an option.

The Elise is not an option, I'm playing S2U right now, and the best car you can buy is basically the Honda S2000. It's a little more of a handful than the other FF cars though.

You get the RX-8 "MadMike" car very soon after though, so you don't need to bother upgrading your first car too much if you don't want to spend money on it.

Thea S2K would be a close second to the Elise for me. So, that's not entirely bad news.

Am I right in thinking you get $20,000 for aceing the preliminary test? I'm hoping that between that and the $20,000 bonus for having a Shift 1 save I can afford the Merc 190E. That would just make my day.

I'm getting the limited edition so I will have the Giulietta available from the start, but I must say I too am really tempted to start with the MX-5... (I love Mazdas).

actually the more I drive the more I want this physics to be in TDU2, it feels more like an advanced version of TDU physics without the center pivoting feel. The car feels weighty and solid.

Buying it new gives you access to the free Alfa Romeo, Nissan, and Lamborghini. The Nissan for me was the starter car, you spend $0 to buy a car, so you just dump about 10k into the Nissan and I blew through the competitions without a problem. I made a mil before I had to buy a car.

I'm guessing it was some sort of pre order bonus, or online pass or something like that.

Did some research and there was a limited edition you could get that gave you access to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, Nissan Silvia Spec-R and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and 40 new events.
