What's better for vigilante (tank or hunter) and why?

Uh, the Hunter easily. Just go to the airport and watch the criminals spawn.

What Klos said. And it also is pretty much invincible, whilst compared to when you get six stars in a tank, you have to keep moving, and sometimes you can get cornered with the tank, and eventually flipped, whilst with the Hunter you're free to roam.

So, do you worry about stars with the Hunter, or not, and then just ignore/shoot down the police chopper?

The minigun has a kind of auto-aim. It'll go for cars and people automatically.

And the hunter does more than just heal each level, it seems to actually get stronger - if you do a couple of hundred levels of Brown Thunder, then the Hunter is pretty much invincible. It'll almost any amount of abuse.

Hunter by far-- the criminal spawning will lock in at one point (2 of the 3 cars) after level 12. The third car will destroy itself most of the time. Just hover near the spawning point and destroy the cars as they spawn (with the minigun just point it in the general direction and it does the rest)- then chase down the third car when ever it doesn't destroy itself.

I completed 2363 levels in about 9 hours--this gave me about 20,000 kills and raised my CR by a bunch.

You will max out your money by level 400--the amount you make per level keeps going up though (even though you don't get any). I was earning (but not keeping) over $250,000,000 per level when I stopped.

Also, there are 3 police bribes on the second island that can be reached from the air (without landing).

The tank causes too much collateral damage which raises your wanted level. The hunter doesn't.

There are acctually four stars that can be reached by air, the one you are missing is in sort of an alley way by auntie poluets house, you have to dip in and get out very quickly and your heli will take some damage, since the rotar blades will hit the side of a building, i'll get a pic up soon of where i'm talking about.

I know about that one but its too risky to get from the air--the other ones are much easier to reach and can be grabbed on the go (without taking much time to get them).
