What's better, hot or cold b-spec driver?

i perfer a Mid hot driver... he drives faster & takes risk to pass..... A cold driver is scared to pass

A "hot" driver will be more aggressive but is more likely to make mistakes whilst a "cold" driver has much more control but is less likely to make an attempt to pass unless it is on a wide open stretch (sometimes not even then). This all kind of goes out the window however once you get to around class 30. At this point your driver kind of turns into a bad ass and B-Spec gets much easier, easier being a relative term. I have a mix of "hot" and "cold" drivers and I've found that it does not make much of a difference.

A driver 1/4 of the way up toward the hot side is just perfect in my opinion.

I keep mine about a notch above or below the midpoint....by LVL 10 they are winning on their own....YMMV.....

I am doing quite well with a cold driver who i shout at all the time to speed up and overtake thus making him hot and angry when i want him to be... poor bob!

I have a cold driver and a 3/4 up hot driver, and I now use the hot driver more because I don't want to throw my controller through the TV when he is driving. He actually passes cars rather than slowing down to 140 mph in a turn at Daytona. My hot driver made it 3 wide many times in the Nascar series. My cold driver would probably still be behind one the cars with worn out tires on the Grand Valley race.

If you are using the X2010 = Hot or Cold driver
Using something close to the AI = Hot Driver

All mine are at the point between cold and the middle point. They're all like level 39 or so now. No problems. I probably needed one that was a little more to the warm side early on. Give them a fast enough car and tell them to hurry before they level to like 30 or so, it worked out for me.

A hot driver will perform better at higher levels when his is battelig or overtakin as the meter is hot but when driving alone he might get bored or something and may do mistakes as the meter is set to cold.. A hot driver will make more mistakes when he's fresh to the career

A cold driver will make more mistake when overtakin etc when the meter is hot and perform good lap times when the meter is cold e.g driving alone. A cold driver will stay cool when in the beginnin of his career but again, he'll prefer to stay behind then fighting to the top

EDIT: I've got one or two drivers set to midle of hot/cold, one or two set to cold and the rest set to hot. my hot drivers are the best drivers. L. Alonso lvl 36 hot doesnt make mistakes and gets to the top during the first two laps in remoteraces fighting with other drivers at the same level. tho fighting with a level 40 driver he'll loose.. most of the times...
