What cars do you refuse to buy when they pop up in the OCD?

I'm to the point if it has any slight reason to buy it, it gets stuck in the garage. Maybe some day I'll get to the point of owning every car. Some auto's I consider so horrible, they don't deserve a place in my garage. haha :sly:
Still.....whenever that horrible PT Cruiser pops up in the OCD, I just refuse to buy it.
 
It might sound strange, but I've passed up on the 2J a few times now. There are still a few cars I want way more than that one, so it might be one of the last cars I try to get.

Same here. I just can't find the will power to buy it. I would much rather have the Toyota 7 which I hardly ever see.
 
RX-7's and Skylines ( save for the rare few of them, R-Tune, R33 Nismo LM Road Car ) but I mostly just hit the OCD up for paint chips since I paint all my rims black. I pass these the former two up because the exact same two cars are available in a premium model. Also I've never kept or bought a Bugatti Veyron, I favor the XJ220 or the McLaren F1 over that piece of junk.
 
Most of the moderate cars and those that are already of my own in the garage... they don't deserve to pay cash only to have them duplicated.

Get it from the b-spec mode.. Boring ass races but still mazda 7 race car, freeeee

Agreed, I only have one cos I got it from a ticket.

But the car I refuse to buy is the premium 300z- I just look at it as a piece of 🤬 and go drive my beautiful 240
 
pretty much 60% of the cars aren't worth my money but I refuse to buy any standard that has a premium duplicate, the audi r8 team play station race car,(I have the silver/red one) but I really, really refuse to buy the premium peugeot 307 cc, audi tt (the old one), nissan 300 and 350z, and the freaking s15 silvia
 
I love the RX-7, but I have so many of them and they still keep popping up :/ lol

On a complete opposite note, I buy every Subaru that shows up. Trying to collect them all. I'm a bit crazy when it comes to Subarus.... as my name/avatar hints :D

My first GT5 car was the mid 90's Impreza, for 19,899 as I recall. What luck eh? The OCD usually pushes you towards a K or Q Silvia for your first car.

Lucky man. I honestly don't remember my first GT5 car. However, I am looking to buy an STi in real life, 02-07. Well see how that works out.
 
I try to have at least one of every car. The only car I don't have (I think the only one) is the 2J, I'm not to fussy for it.

I've heard the Impreza/WRX is still a good choice, still expensive since it retains it's value. I wanted to buy a 94 JDM WRX from an import shop I saw but it had too many miles on it and I have a tight budget. My first ever Gran Turismo car I remember however, a 90 Infiniti G20 in Gran Turismo 2. When I found one in GT5 the other day in the UCD I couldn't resist but buy it and take it to the track, it turned out to be a pretty good car. I stick to the Subaru's for the 4WD events.

If you only need 1 car to complete your collection, why don't you get a '70 bday ticket from the marketplace and use it with USB until you get it? That's how I had to get mine, because every time I saw one in the UCD I didn't have enough credits :grumpy:
