I've got the Wheel Stand Pro v2 and I'm very happy with it. I've not found the central column to be an issue at all but some don't get on with it. Excellent build quality, quick to put together and takes seconds to fold down for storage.

So I can use it on flight Sim as well. Even though it states it works for G27 as well, I'm not to sure if I will need to purchase any additional bits because the pedal section looks a bit different to the G27 only version of the stand. What do you think?

It states on that web page "- Additional plates to fix gear shifter/throttle quadrant/trim wheel/panels on either side of the volant". I'd assume from that you get the additional plates in the box. Wouldn't hurt to drop them an email and check though, save any further shipping costs at a later date.

here is a list of wheel stands. I have the fanatic v2. stable stand, don't worry about the center stand. I have never once hit the center post. good luck

Wheel Stand Pro v2, best stand period for any wheel as long as you want a stand and not a cockpit.
