What's the car you love and/or hate to drive?

The Renault Clio Williams is an absolute blast.

At the moment I dislike racing the open wheels. The ai isn’t good enough for it to not be incredibly frustrating.

Yes, those have been the worst races for me. I see a space, go for a pass, get about half my car past the AI car then he moves over and hooks my rear tire with his front tire and around we go, rewind, try again. I'll be glad when the last of those are done.

I still hate the Formula E's... they're slow, they handle weirdly and they don't make sound, which is disorienting. Not a very fun experience all things considered.

Here's another vote for worst car for all the reasons described above. Understeer into oversteer and feeling like you're driving a Dyson just makes it a horrible experience. No fun at all. I did one race of the Formula E series in the Driver Cup and that was enough for me.

Adding Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 458 Italia GTM to the hate list because its handling resembles that of Formula E. With a rear wing size of a bath tub, there should be way more rear end grip.

Hate:

Pagani Zonda R - spent 1.4m credits on it, and after struggling for ages sold it again for a 700k loss :ouch:
It's just horrible to drive, so disappointing.

And again I can't believe I'm saying this, but...
Nissan GT-R. All of them. The car is supposed to corner "faster than electricity" (Jeremy Clarkson) but is an understeering pig in FM7. There is no enjoyment in driving them at all.

LOVE:

Porsche 918 Spyder, especially around Yas Marina. An absolute joy.

Love the 918 aswell, currently doing a tourney in it just now, even after driving the Carrera GT,it feels so much faster.:)

The Radical RXC. I love driving it, cause it just begs for more of anything you give it. I also hate driving it because the games FFB makes slides impossible to catch. :/

But a car I actually hated, was the Hoonigan Focus RS, due to the tires not having grip. It's meant to be slippery, but the Games FFB rears its ugly head and makes what should be a fun car, a digital nightmare.

I'm absolutely in love with the Porsche Cayman GT4. I like how you can rely on the car doing what you order it to.

Porsches in general have been growing on me lately.

Me too. Got it for free as a level up prize and then took it to Watkins Glen for the first race of the Sports Coupe championship. Fell in love. Such a neutral and balanced chassis, feels a little underpowered but it's just so enjoyable to drive, it just flows through corners. As you said it just goes where you point it. Looking forward to doing the rest of the Sport Coupe series with it.

You’re crazy!! I think the GT-R is one of the easiest cars in the game to drive! I don’t use any assists except for braking line, and I almost fall asleep it’s so easy to drive. I think they almost aren’t fun, because they are so good. (But they still are fun, I think the GT-R’s are one of the best production/race cars to come out in the last 25 yrs.

I would have to think on my favorites, any of those 80’s/ early 90’s IMSA cars, I can drive those all day long. They are so fast, but they all drive so well it doesn’t seem like they are that fast, so much fun to drive.

Cars I hate, both the Radicals for sure. I can’t stand those cars, there no reason at all to have two separate career events for each of those things. I know there’s more, but that’s all I can think of right now.

So far I haven't found a favorite car, I did quite like the Huracan Super Trofeo and the '16 Viper ACR, those are currently the two with the most mileage on them, but I wouldn't say they're my absolute favorites. The AMG GT-R is pretty good too.

Yes, I agree with your post on the Formula E's. I have grown to dislike them, and for the reasons you pointed out. I had a devil of a time winning that event. Plus, it seems I keep winning Formula E's when I Driver Level up. I have 4 of them, and I swear I have turned down at least 4 times, opting for the cash instead. I also do not like the Formula Ford Eco boost. Honestly, it's been hit and miss on the open wheel cars. Some of the vintage Indy cars have been challenging to drive, but fun overall. A real interesting experience. I prefer the GT cars. I like the look and the performance. Lots of surprises in this game though. Example, I dreaded the Tankpool tractor trailers, but found them to be very enjoyable and fun. Overall I am enjoying the snot out of this game, IMO the best Forza yet.

The FE BRZ, GT-R and M4 are a delight out of the box. Also the Pagani Zonda Cinque R, the Audi R8 LMS, and Chevy C7.R.
The Lambo Jalpa maxed at A700 and with a few tweaks is great too!

I hate the Mclaren F1...

Zonda Cinque Roadster is phenomenal to drive in hardcore mode. As is the Nissan R91CP - it’s almost too easy.

New car to hate...
McLaren 570S. In Homoligated form, it's a slow wandering waste of credits. I hope I can auction this thing off, cause it is just terrible.

Jaguar XK GT3 - Handles really well for a GT car with 600 HP. Pretty good online when racing at tracks like Silverstone.

Radical is definitely an absolute gem ... also love the Porsche 918 and newly acquired Mclaren P1 GTR

Please tell me you're referring to the RXC Coupe and not the roadster as I had the latter, found I wasnt a fan of it's lack of grip and sold it. If the coupe is anything like that I wouldnt be interested. Porsche 918 is a hoot to drive and I havent had the money to buy the P1 GTR yet.

I still hate both of the Radicals.

A new favorite of mine, that I just got around to buying, is the Lambo Sesto. That car’s a blast. It may be my new favorite Lamborghini.

The SR8 was absolutely amazing in FM4, but it somehow went wrong in the new generation games and it's not really fun anymore. I found the RXC to be a bit understeery at first, but with a good tune it's one of my favorite cars to drive. It's not as glued to the road as it was in FH3, but that's probably down to the grip levels in each games.

Tracks like the 2nd to last variant of the Alps and Watkins glen really suit fast cars and you can have a lot of fun with them
The Radical RXC Turbo is the one i'm driving .... personally i love it
Was the recent Rivals Road America (i think) event that sparked my interest

The P1 GTR came up on the Collector promotion on discount so i got it for bang on 1m creds (took all my cash).....
I did a 25 lap Watkins race in the GTR last night with mods to earn 500k ... I have a Veyron on the next level promotion which needs another mill which i want but i don't know if i i can get the money in a single race (might have to do a 30-40 lap marathon around Nurberg GP circuit in the Beemer FE to get some cash)

Been loving the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV lately. Tuned it endlessly for Yas Marina and utterly in love with it, especially for a 4WD car.

I absolutely hated the sound coming from the Challenger SRT Hellcat, so I sold it (a pity because it handles very well.)

I find the real SRT Hellcat to be vehicular Viagra. It sounds amazing at WOT. Such a awesome sounding car. Let me guess what's wrong with FM7's rendition. It's tinny and sounds closer to a chainsaw than an actual Hellcat?

Yes, it sounded like a very high pitch buzzing wail at high revs... excruciating!

I can't get on with the open wheelers. The AI smoke me at every turn. Maybe I need to learn how to slide them.

The old ones like to be drifted.
Fun alone, terrible in any kind of pack.

I raced my Formula Ford in the wet at Hockenheim last night and finished last. Didn’t care. Was too busy going sideways through corners. Good fun.

But good luck to me ever winning a race in one lol

Shame about the engine sound of the RX7 GT - sounds like a total whine hairdryer :(
Revs like a champ but is annoying to listen to
