What's the difference?

The main difference in between GT3 and GTA is the classifications of the game. For example, GT3 is a racing simulation, whereas GTA is a arcade style game. Have you played them both?

Sorry, no opinion about 24 Hours of Lemans, maybe DODGE the Viper might have one....

24 Hours was an okay game. Nothing terribly special, but certainly one of the first games to pull of the 24 hour race.

Is it real-time 24 hours, or is it some kind of time-laps compression thing? Even pausing the game periodically I couldn't imagine sitting through a 24 hour race.

Ah. I see. Never played GTA.

I keep seeing conflicting reviews of 24 hrs of Lemans. Seems that once you've played GT other racing games just don't cut it. But I might have to give it a try. I just hate to have another game that just collects dust.

Le Mans 24 Hours is an ok game :)

I love the 24 hour mode, and i have just started my second 24 hour race. You can save in the pits, so thats a good feature. After GT3, it doesn't have especially good graphics but it has realistic car models, etc from 2000. I'd give it about a 7 / 10. :) It also has the Petit Le Mans 10 hours if you wanted that.

It runs in a kind of series where you win cars if you win the races. Eventually you will have a good enough car to go to the Le Mans section and race there... ;)

That's about it with Le Mans 24 Hours...

oh, thanks Pako ;)

There are also codes to access all the cars but its better off just winning them anyway. There are different AI settings and Hard keeps me challenged, while Easy is just what the name says. The last series is difficult, but not too difficult. Just enough not to get you frustrated and not less to make it too easy.;)

Are the graphics on the PS2 version mediocre, too?

Also, how is the game play, car physics? Probably the most important part.

I am sorry :( I didn't even have PSX until less than one year ago.

Lemans 24hrs was OK, but is a little dated. I also thought that it had better graphics when it was on the Dreamcast (All Dreamcast games ported to the Ps2 lost Graphic quality for whatever reason.)
I Liked the 24 hour race feature, and no it wasn't compressed time. It was the whole shebang.
Vatman has it too, and he's a more precise critic of Driving games than I am, so maybe drop him a line...

Everybody except me.

Having PS2 has nothing to do with it. I was just pointing out that I have only been into any video games for less than a year.

Car physics: Just about average...nothing special, there is little damage. The graphics are average too. Nothing special graphicswise...
