Whats the funnest evo?

Definitely the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II Touring Car '92.

…probably not what you're looking for… ;)

I don't like Evos so I'm not going to answer the question. Instead I will point out "funnest" is not a word ;)

This one:

For me it's this one

Understeer much?

Generally the older the Evo the funner it is. For me anyway.

Understeer much?.

...no?. Why not actually upgrade to Spec 2 and see how actually good it is now.

In other news, any of the first 6 are pretty good, 7 is a bit of a dud though.

9 isn't that epic either but you can't really go wrong with any Evo.

I have got Spec II. I just haven't tried it out in the new physics yet.

It did suck back in the days of Spec I. I'll try it again sometime.

As in, you haven't driven in Spec II yet?

And yes, the handling was screwed to god in Spec I without a tune. Now it's fine without.

No. Rather I haven't driven that particular car in Spec II yet. I play Spec II all the time.

I play spec III.

Nope...either you need to update or get a tune on this

I'm with TankAss. The HKS Evo does understeer like hell. And yes, I have Spec 2, and yes, I play with a wheel.
the misutibhishi MR evo version
There's about a million of these, be more specific.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M. EDITION '00

STANDARD - UCD

It's probably the lightest Evo' in game when fully modified (because it's the RS the car already lacks the basic luxuries and it also has "steelies" for wheels; which complete the hardcore lightweight look).
Maybe the quickest as no other Evo' I-IX I've been against has been able to pull away from me. I've not tested against the Evo' X but its definitely more fun than all the other standard and premium Evo's.

If you're not looking for the quickest: a nice mildly tuned (Premium) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. EDITION Special Color Package '99 will also suffice.

It's fun because it's quick and agile, and not too overpowered. It also looks good when you paint it in white. The fact that it's premium means that the details of the car can also be enjoyed more. Mine's has:
ECU,
Sports Air Filter,
Stage 2 Turbo Kit,
Catalytic Convertor,
Sports Exhaust,
Weight Stage 1-3,
Window Weight Reduction,
Carbon Hood,
6 Speed Close Ratio Drivetrain,
Sports Adjustable Suspension,
Sport Soft Tires.

It's painted in Scotia White, I've kept the original wheels. I think it looks good, and pulls.

Now you see, I don't know how physics work with a wheel so I can't hit you on that, but with the DS3 I use, I certainly find mine alright. It can react to different surfaces in different ways I have found, so maybe look elsewhere to drive it?

Also, he means the Evo VIII MR GSR '04. I think that's my personal favourite Evo in this game - IMO, the 'ultimate' Evo in this game (certainly the last one). I used it for both time trials this week.

The Evos IV, V & VI are the best to drive. The rest, especially the HKS CT230R, are dreadful.

The Evo IV and VI are the most pleasant driving experience imo. I like the Evo III because of how potent the light weight makes it. It's impressive for the last Evo before AYC was implemented.

Evo VI RS is by far my favorite. It's far better than the VI GSR. I would take it over any of the T.M. Models. The AYC is one of my favorite features and it's horsepower when fully modified is pretty good. Also, I really like the looks. Mine is fluorescent Orange with fluorescent green wheels lol.

The Evo III is pretty fun for me, along with the IV and the V and VI.
