Any amount that you can manage to put into it, I suppose. I've seen Supras up above 800hp, and that's not even at a level to compete with turbo'd and tuned Skylines.

Depends where you live and smog laws. i bet there are 900+ rwhp supras roaming the streets in the east coast like in Florida but that's rare.

I've heard of a 1200 horsepower street supra, but boost is turned down to go from one spot to another. Most of them are 800-950rwhp.

dont forget street car may be registered but doesnt mean its legal:)

A Supra, regardless of the hp it make's, is legal. The only thing that would make it illlegal, would be if the state required emission/smog check's. There are numerous way's around this also.

If your looking for information on Supra's, to4r.com is the place to go.

As for HP potential, on an unbuilt 2jzgte engine, the norm is around 600-800 crank hp with a sufficient fuel setup. Some people will upgrade the cam's and go with a stronger head gasket, but other then that, most use the stock longblock.

Tehcnically a Supra could have an infinite amount of horsepower. This is a profoundly stupid question.
I think 1,000,000,000hp would blast the pistons to china (i.e. you are in the us)

Technically no, a Supra could not have infinite hp, read the thread title again. And it wasn't a dumb question, but the comment you made was.

And your right; it does depend on how much money you have. That go's for all car's.
