What's the most exotic car you've ever seen?

A couple of those guys can't park to save themselves, look at the Bugatti and the blue Ferrari. Proof that just because you can afford it, it doesn't mean you should have it.

Nice Messerschmidt Kabinenroller 👍 And that GTR

The Veyron owner parks like I would do, too. There are too many people just smashing their door open and slam it into another car, I saw that too often. So I'll park in the middle of two places, too ;)

I completely agree and would park the same way. Come on Brando... I don't believe for a second you would park your Veyron like it's an Accord.

I saw this GT about 5 minutes from home, and 5 minutes from work. It came out of nowhere and absolutely made my day. I spotted it heading toward me from quite a distance of course, due to the distinctive low profile and magnificent hood. The GT is without a doubt my dream car and it was my first time laying eyes on one. In the middle of an neighborhood intersection (four way stop) we passed, and I chatted him up a bit. He doesn't take it out much, bought it new, etc.

My 8 year old son went berserk when he saw the photo this fellow was nice enough to let me take. I had no idea there was one in Indy... And I've looked several times online at the high end dealers. We found one for sale 2 hours away once (not far from my wife's hometown) and almost went to see it - just to snap a few photos and possibly sit in it under the guise that it was trip back to see her old friends, lol.

Certainly would not be my color choice, but it was beautiful. Just a phone pic, apologies.

Not sure where in Indianapolis you live, but in Greenfield, there is an older man with a collection of Ford GTs. He takes them to the mall on the East side on Friday nights in the summer. There are a few others around here with Ford GTs, also. There is also a guy somewhere here with a Porsche Carrera GT and a Lamborghini Diablo, but recently totaled the Porsche at a local racetrack. In Greenfield also, there are a few people with Lambos, mostly Gallardos, and a lot of old cars.

Oh, and I have seen a Ferrari 430 Scuderia in Greenfield before, but I'm not sure if that's where the owner lived.

Thanks for that Josh. I'll look into that if he shows them off on summer nights I'll check them out. I'm on the northeast side by the way

Back to your regularly scheduled program everyone...

We have a Lamborghini dealer here pretty close to where I live, or better had (mostly selling Alfa Romeos today). So I saw a lot of these weekly, sometimes when going to school.

Special models I remember:
Countach LP400 (in black, with all the spoilers etc.).

Several Diablos including roadsters and SV models.

And the almighty LM002.

A guy here close to our neighbourhood has one like this, if I remember correctly (been a while since I last saw it):

A BMW 321.

Vipers, both roadster & coupe.

Someone I know has an old E-Type.

And some other cars I cannot remember right now.
Unfortunately no photos, because I've seen most of them when I was in Elementary School and we didn't have any fancy photo cellphones back then.

I've heard that owning a very expensive car affects your personality and way of thinking.

About a month ago, I saw a Ferrari 458 Italia on Camp Bowie Blvd here in Fort Worth. Sure beats all those Porsche 911s that I see every so often.

When I lived in Phoenix, AZ, Scottsdale was a hotbed for exotics. I used to drive through Scottsdale just to see what was out and about as far as supercars. Saw an AMG Black, Aventador, F40, F50 and a Vector! In Colorado I saw an Enzo at Red Rocks Amphitheater. In Ohio I've seen a Maserati Gran Turismo, Muira, and another Vector (at an exotic dealership). Here are a few pics too of what I've seen at shows.

Well I saw my rarest street spot on Thursday, a Mercedes CLK55 AMG Black Series. Was rather surprised to see that.

I leave near Atlanta Georgia in the USA, So some of everything. Every Lambo but the Avantador, every Ferrari except Enzo, saw an FF for the first time at the Petit Lemans last weekend, and a Mclaren MP4-12C.

The rarest car I've saw was probally a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, only 350 made. Followed by the Ferrari Enzo.

Probably a Rolls Royce Phantom. Some "Scumbag Steve" parked his car in a handicap spot and waited for his girl to leave the store I work at; a dollar store. Must have been his dad's ride.

Also, spotted a blue GT-R last Sunday, rare for the time being, but GT-Rs aren't the most exotic I've seen.

For where I live probably the rarest car I've seen is a Saleen S281 Mustang:

Not that rare anywhere else but we never got the Mustang in the first place, and a Saleen-tuned 'Stang is even more out of the ordinary down in the South East.

Aside from that, and several GT-Rs, probably either this:

or this:

Technically the Efijy is a concept but it's certainly driveable and has been run a few times by local magazines.

Bit of a mixed bag for me, not counting shows, museums or dealerships, i've seen on the open road or parked up a Ferrari Daytona Spider (it *may* have been a replica, saw it when I was quite young, during the 1980s), a Ferrari 512BB, Lamborghini Countach 5000S, Lamborghini Espada, Lamborghini Diablo (purple), Enzo Ferrari, a few oddities such as a Peerless GT (only a few hundred made), Jensen SV8, various bubble cars and Bond Bugs and some less scarce beauties such as a Ferrari Testarossa, couple of Lamborghini Murcielagos, MG RV8 etc.

There are still tons of cars i'd half expect to see but haven't such as Ferrari F40 or F50, Ferrari 599, Ferrari 458, several other Ferraris which aren't overly scarce, Ford GT (though these are scarce in the UK) etc etc. I've only spotted 3 Nissan GTRs and two of those were last Saturday, wasn't quick enough to get pics, annoyingly :)

The most exotic would have to be a 458 Italia. I know, it isn't something special but that's the best I've seen. I was walking back home from the train station one day, when all of a sudden, a white one came out of nowhere and took the turn at the junction. I stopped and stared at it until it drove off. I couldn't believe I saw a car like that around the crappy neighborhood where I live.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, Mercedes SLS AMG, Mercedes SLS AMG Spyder, Ferrari 599 Alonso Edition, Ferrari F430 Scruderia 16M Spyder, Ferrari 599 GTO. Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari 458 Spyder, Ferrari FF and a Lamborghini LP560 - 4 Valentino Balboni are the most exotic cars I've seen so far.

We know the guy who bought it. He purchased it from a museum and then drove it to work. One minute it was behind a velvet rope with a plaque on it that said "Please do not touch. No flash photography" or some nonsense like that. Next minute it was being driven on a crowded road.

As far as on the road goes. The rarest I've seen was two 599s, and F430, several Bentley Continentals, and several GT-Rs. As far as auto shows go then:

Lamborghini Countach, Gallardo, Murcilago, and Aventador
Rolls Royce Phantom
Old Lotus Esprit
930 Porsche 911
BMW M3, M5, X6M
Lexus LFA, ISF
Racing Porsche 911
Jaguar XKRS
Lotus Evora (got to sit in it)
