What's the most satisfying thing you've done in GT6?

An almost clean lap at the 15 mins of Nürburgring in IA series on a Zonda R with a Ford GT LM Spec II chasing me during the whole last lap

^ How is that even possible? I've tried a dozen times and felt like curling up in the fetal position...

For me, it's getting a perfect lap around Suzuka Circuit.

For example, here's my bone-stock AE86 on Sport Hards lapping the circuit in 2:39.826 and sorry about the quality...

I don't know, It took me about an hour and just as I was about to quit I got it.

But now I'm doing the S Licence Tests and I don't know whats harder to use, the Alfa Romeo or the Veyron.

Some great posts in this thread:tup:
The most satisfying thing that I have done is the 24 mins of Le Mans in the Deltawing and winning - not due to the poor rain/tire modelling strategy but due to the fact I didnt spin out in that thing once!!!!:dopey:

Most satisfying? Reached the Finals in a tournament organized by some friends. It lasted almost 4 hours, from Kart space I in a 125 Shifter (this...thing is absolutely awful) to GT Arena in a X-bow Street, and ending with the N24 Sirroco...But i was beaten 3 times in a row in the finals...

When I ran over the stack of tires on Bathurst for a trophy.

I'm not going to pretend I understood the symbolism behind it, but wow, it sure felt profound. I'm awed by the genious of Kaz.

Finally reigning in the DeltaWing, and using it to thrash 650-700pp online rooms. Once you can get it to handle, it's almost unstoppable. It was one of my first big purchases, and I couldn't drive it worth a d***. After hours of tinkering, it's not only driveable, it's a proper beast. I love the challenge of tuning something that unruly, and the payoff when you finally get it right.
I'm now motivated. I always knew that it had potential.

Fighting against Two Mazda RX-7's in a stock 1998 Subaru Legacy in Mount Panorama (Night Challenge)..

Getting gold on the third anniversary event with an x bow r 2:14.7 when the recommended vehicle was a Audi r18.

Beating all my friend times on the license test was a blast. Also, karting. Its so mutch better in gt6 than gt5. And, the red bull junior championship, what a machine that is!

I think for me the most satisfying moment will be: when I have all GOLDS in Vettel challenge this time and won the X2014 fancar!!! Already beat all the rest of the game, just waiting for Vettel challenge and get the X2014 fancar.

Could the Ford GT LM Spec II being faster than the Zonda R? They have similar PP but different Horsepower like 630PS to 760PS. I don't know, but I will try them out. Something to do, nice!

Hi guys, just applied the registration, but been reading since gt3 and playing sins gt1. So i'm kind of new/old something.

But for now the most fun thing was turning the gran turismo evo IX touring car into an rally ready monster. Well ok, i'm still tweaking her and there. Nonetheless i don't think this will be the last fun thing.

Cheers

Golding all Goodwood challenges.
Golding all License tests mostly first try (or if completing it for the first time without cone/crash/etc).
Golding the S-License in general (X-BowR 2seconds faster than gold 55.313//Veyron and Aventador first time gold although pretty challenging)
Beating the NASCAR Races
And beeing faster than my friends on very few seasonals/license tests)

I've golded all the goodwood events quite easily, as well as the licenses and missions (except iA missions and S, not completed yet) but I found the S license pretty damn hard.
S1 gold in 2 attempt, S2 and S3 not that easy to gold, but S4...damn! I've spent a lot of time to reach the gold. S5 is still bronze, did at the 2nd attempt, wait to complete the game 100% before trying to get gold on this one.

Probably because I was driving quite carefully and the AI seems to get a bit aggressive once you've reached the 1st position, anyway both cars share the same amount of PP, plus, on the green hell a computer has a lot of advantage !

Yeah, that's maybe the reason. In my mind, the Zonda R is faster than Ford GT Spec-II due to their power difference. But I will try that out. The AI in second place definitely get more aggressive once you passed them. I feel the advancement of GT6's AI is a good improvement. Now the AI feels much more alive, more aggressive when you try to overtake them and more realistic when they have made some of mistakes. Honestly, I love it!
Just like you, I golded on licenses and GoodWood pretty easy, and S-3 the KTM one I drove that car for the first time, been on that track for first time, and achieved a 1.5s faster than Gold time. S-4 needs a little bit more trials, the S-5 is the hardest one of all. I went through half an hour to try to achieve a second faster than Gold but failed it. Finally only a half second faster than 2min14. But I am totally done with Veyron, LoL. Little tip maybe helpful: when drive Veyron, turn-in according to driving line, you can brake late. Adjust your vehicle position to ideal than accelerate out quickly. The first high speed corner needs to brake slightly, the second one needs full throttle. Make the SS corner like straight line, but be careful on the exit according to next corner. Hope you find them helpful.

When I got Gold in ALL of the Seasonal Events as well as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I never thought I'd fail in the final one where you drive the Gran Turismo/Red Bull Racing X2010 Prototype. I didn't expect I got Gold there for driving the X2010 is tough!

Looking forward for new updates (more Seasonal Events, more Vision Gran Turismo cars, more Special Events)!

^ Exactly. :)

So far my most satisfying moment, and given that I'm using a DS3, was getting a time under 30 seconds for X2010 Goodwood time attack. Considering it was THE FIRST TIME I was actually able to complete the whole stretch AND I got 29.6xx while I was at it... pretty surreal. I think I stared at the screen without moving a muscle for a good 15 seconds at least.

You got 29.6xx+ seconds? I got like 30.xxx+ seconds. Time to get gold is less than 31 seconds actually...

And I thought I'd never finish the entire Goodwood Festival of Speed. Thank you Lord March for the invitation! :)

I was like that when i finally got gold for the s5 licence and the platinum. Just stared at the screen in silence wondering was it worth the effort

Another satisfying thing I've done in GT6 is finally getting the ending movie where it shows Kazunori Yamauchi (who is also an actual race car driver, which I recently learned, so sorry if I was under a rock for saying this) driving through 24 hours in Nurburgring. And I grew with its ending song made by daiki kasho which is "We Are One"! :D

On to getting ALL the stars in ALL the races!

Probably the arcade race I did last night in the RB Jr. Didn't even win, I came 3rd. I had the corner speed by far, but the AI cars were just laughing at me as they cruised back in front on the straights. So they'd take a bit of time off me, I'd take a bit more back in the fast corners, they'd take a bit again, I'd take more back. Was a ridiculous back on forth, and I basically whacked together a 10 lap race of qualifying laps to finally make it to 3rd. Will probably do it again tonight, but up the race length to see if I can make it to 1st.

Mind you, I've only had GT6 a few days.
