What's your idea of a perfect corner in GT3? Is it a flat-out, sweeping left hander, a tight hairpin or maybe a fast chicane complex. Is there one particular corner or complex in GT3 that you just love to drive again and again?

Personally, mine would have to be the flat-out, three corner complex of turns 1,2 and 3 at Trial Mountain. I never tire of driving them:)

Laguna Seca corkscrew's definitely on my list... as well as the sweepers on the back part of SSR5, and a few of the sweeper/corners at Deep Forest.

I agree with chaser_fan, those first three curves are always fun to drive. Also the sweeping corners in Deep Forest after the second tunnel. Also towards the end of Tokyo Route there are a few nice consecutive curves. The first two esses at the beginning of Apricot Hill are fun also, and also abit later abit before the end of the lap. I hate the corkscrew, gives too much oversteer to the cars. Even at Seatle after T1 there are a few nice curves before the tight curve which leads to the back straight. Yep thats basically what I like. GT3 has some great tracks, I couldnt think of anything better... maybe an "eau rouge" from Spa Francorchamps, or the esses of Senna in Suzuka.

definately my favorite is the corkscrew on laguna seca and the other one is in deep forest II where you go out of the tunnel then down the hill you go, then there should be that right turn..yup that one:trouble:

any series of corners that serve to upset the balance of a car.
any off-camber sharpish but not hairpins too

i prefer the big turn 4 @ tokyo! :D

it hard to get just the right speed thru there at times. challenging to do it fast.

You mean the one right after the chicane?

Wow! So many people like the Laguna Seca 'corkscrew', huh? I agree that it's a challenge but I don't really get a thrill out out driving it...........yet. I guess I need to practise:O

I like the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca, especially in the Lancia Delta.

I also like the first 3 corners of Trial Mountain.

And the sweeping corners of Deep Forest after the first corner hairping.

Another of my faves is the double right hander complex midway through the Tokyo course. Get on the anchors from full speed hard turn to the right get back on the throttle and power through the second right hander, clipping the apex and avoiding the fence on the right hand side. Beautiful! In fact I may have to play right now;)

Hmmmm, this is interesting...

My vote has to go to the set of corners after the hairpin at Grand Valley Speedway - the sweeping left-sweeping right-tight left set of corners (the left enters the tunnel). Enter the left at mid-track, flow into the right-hander and turn early for the tight left.

If you do it right you'll keep the accelerator flat (for the first two corners), keep the sticks jammed to the hilt and get some sweet tail-end drift out of the left-hander.

Hey I've developed a strategy to counter that, and believe me, it works - brake at your designated braking point, but when you shift down, stay in one gear above the gear you need to be, then about mid-way through the 'Screw, shift down to the gear you should be in. This should counter the oversteer characteristics of that corner. :)

Interesting, I'll give that one a try:)

Apricot Hill

The First 2 corners

Deep Forest

The last corner Flat out in a f1 car and the bit befor the first tunnel after the 1st corner were the cambers make the car hard to control.

Grand Vally

Overtaking in the fast up hill sweepers after the first corner down to the hairpin Flat out in f cars. And the aproach to the first corner were u try and break as hard as you cam fater that dip were sparks fly from underneath the cars.

Special stage route 5

Going flat out into the the first corner into the tunnel in a f1 car

Flat out all the way, WEYHEY!! for that sweeper too, eh, chaser_fan (the one on Deep Forest, after the last tunnel)? Sweet!

I like the corkscrew, and the first corner at Grand Valley Speedway. I also like the sharp corner that leads into the first tunnel on that track. The corner that comes after the corkscrew at 'Seca is great, too. I love downhill corners! The last sharp corner at this track is fun, too, especially if the AI is in the race, they spin out on that corner sometimes! Super Speedway's corners are a blast if you are driving an F1 car as well. You don't even have to let off the gas in turn 1!

I don't just like the fast corners, Sandstorm;)

I'm feeling the 2nd gear right hander after the right to left chicane about 2/3 of the way through Trial Mountain, that's a goodun:) Get those tyres scrabbling for traction on the exit.

Indeed. Especially the downhill left after that corner. That's fantastic.

And the downhill right after the tunnel (still on Trial Mountain) is pretty good too.

In fact, Sandstorm, the whole track is perhaps the finest in gaming history:D

In GT4 let's hope that they put in a tribute to 'eau rouge' (Spa) That would be special;)
