In GT4 let's hope that they put in a tribute to 'eau rouge' (Spa) That would be special;)

Nah, Grand Valley is the finest track in gaming history. ;)

Eau Rouge is an amazing corner, they need to put Spa in GT4.

Most definately Spa, and Suzuka too:)

Have you ever thought of putting "chaser_fan" int your sig? It'd save you tying it into each post...

I believe that THE finest corner in GT3 is the long, long, long, LONG, LONG sweeping right-hander on Complex String. That thing goes FOREVER!

Oh yes, that would be a tad easier wouldn't it:O I don't drive complex string much, I always tend to overlook it, I don't know why but it just happens that way. I'll have to play it more, cheers for reminding me;)

Laguna Seca all the way. The hairpin at the beginning, the turn before and the hill leading up to the corkscrew and the corkscrew itself are all on my list of favorites. I also like that final hairpin into the large chicane at Midfield...

In Gt2, Red rock valley, that long sweeping corner leading to the tunnel, carrying all that speed through there and hoping you don't hit the wall.

Best ever.

I'm feeling the 2nd gear right hander after the right to left chicane about 2/3 of the way through Trial Mountain, that's a goodun:) Get those tyres scrabbling for traction on the exit.

I can only think of one place on Trial Mountain where you'd want to be in 2nd and it's not there.

Well, I have a lot of tracks/combos that I really enjoy, but my all-time favorite as to be the long uphill series of the first 5 turns at Trial Mountain (the whole T1 segment, plus the hard right after the first tunnel). Hold it flat open all the way up, kissing the rumble strips with a brief lift at turn 3 and hard braking for a tight line through the tunnel - what a feeling.

Other favorites are the two lefts leading into the hairpin right on SS R5 Reverse, and the down/right up/left comination coming out of it. I also enjoy the left/right/left/hairpin right on Grand Valley.

Grand Valley is loaded with great turns. I like the quick left - right after the last tunnel. It took me a long time to get through that fast and without loosing grip. Ah hell I love the whole thing. Great, long, high speed course with some good tight turns, too.

Seattle II has so many good turns! Just about every one is cool. The box turns are a lot of fun -- getting right up next to each wall then shooting out onto the straightaway. Then the sweeping turn, then downhill, then cutting back inside to the right and back uphill. The best part, though, is shooting down the steep bumpy hill towards the end when your car's really unstable and you have to turn.

I guess I'm the only one that liked the Super License test with the GT40?

I have too many favorites to list! Too many, especially when thinking off all the car/track combinations.

Let's see...

The slalom on Complex String-Looks amazing on replay.

The entire first half of Deep Forest.

The quick hairpin on Swiss Alps after the bridge.

The very long left sweeper on CSII after the hills...Impreza LM, 900+hp, simulation tyres, and going sideways through the entire thing. The replays are sick.

The quick double-right on Midfield entering the tunnel.

The medium-degree left turn at the top of the hill at Cote d'Azur, by the hotel.

So many more...

I know it's not in GT3, but in Autumn Ring (GTC) the last left, right, left, right chicane complex is a barrel of fun. Let's hope they put that in GT4, I want to drive my tail happy S13 through them:)

I like the 'kink' rite b4 the pit straight in monaco :)

last turn on DF
T1 of TM (the whole track is beautiful really)
1st cnr of ROME at top speed

can't remember any others at the moment

hmm.. a bit o/t.. but for TM, how aggressively do you attack the kerbs of the first 3 corners? is your whole car barely making contact with the actual tarmac?

:)

Two wheels on the curb two on the grass through the first, two wheels of the ground through the second and two on the curb two on the road through the third apex:)

thought so ;)

As MidusGT said, the slalom complex in CS looks magnificent on the replays, same as the hairpin after the '90 degree' turns, you get a nice shot of the car there too.
The last set of turns in SSR5.
For some reason I can't tear my way through just right at the first set of turns in Trial Mountain anymore, I could in GT and GT2.
This isn't actually a turn, well slightly, but the road leading up the hill, after the first turn in Monaco with the sun right in your face... beautiful. 👍 And the set of turns after the quick chicane coming out of the tunnel, if you get the gears just right you can slide you way through there so cool.
Red Rock Valley had some great sectors. I miss that track, I would've liked it more at noon or something though, the lighting is the only thing that doesn't work for me there.

I also love the S turns on midfield if I am in the C5R or ZZII. Something about those cars at high speeds they love to 4 wheel drift with me, nothing better then being right on that edge as I blast through those turns then step on the brakes hard to make it for the tunnel.

the last 3 turn of rome curcuit with impreza, fast left, downshift and get into counterster and back to right, i know its posible to done, but not for me NOW, i have not that much time to practice coz i work everyday and i just 1-2 hour of playing and its sure not enough. why dont u guys try it, its NICEZ:D

My favourite?

Has to be the set of hairpins at Tahiti Maze, coming off the start line...:D

theres a left hander on DF just before you climb up the hill to the tunnel near the end of the lap - I love keeping it close to the rumblers right on the inside of the turn and you fly round it and it feels like you are driving throught the trees and it just grips and grips because you are on the rumble strip ! Quality !

The increasing-radius curves at Complex String, or the decreasing-radius curves at Complex II. Always a challenge to hold yer drift as long as possible...

I play GT2, not GT3...

Trial Mountain

For me, I love all the corners here, spectacular when you try to drift them...my personal favourite sequence is the 180 after the long tunnel straight, then the S-curves followed by the sharp right hander, then the left out of the trees. Got some extreme drift angles here... :D

Apricot Hill

The first 2 left handers, then the triple S-turns...hard to link those corners via drifting though...coz they're to far apart for me...

Tahiti

Some of those sharp L-turns are fun as well!

The little chicane on R246 I can do it in most cars without braking, if you muck it up you hit the sides and you have to do it perfectly.

Also the corner after the corkscrew in a Polyphony 001 is possible to do without braking and yet you never think you will make it.:)

Ah, this old chestnut! Well, nine months on from when I created this thread, a lot has changed in my world of GT. I been through GT4 Prolougue filled up my GT3 garage to bursting point and have been using the GT Force Pro wheel since Christmas.

What's my favourite corner now? Well, with the trusty GT Force Pro, it would be difficult to pick a favourite, but let me try anyway. I think I would have to say that three corner (fast left, slow right, fast right) mid section at Tokyo in the 787B is pretty compelling! Real 'hold-on-to-your-hats stuff that. Great!
