Heh, different strokes for different folks... I absolutely hate it forward, but I can tolerate it reversed.

Well maybe it's because I remember the course from GT1 and GT2, and finally learned to drive it on GT3. It would be a better course if they redid the last chicane and the first corner. Do you also hate Seattle?
 
I hate the 90 degree right hander at the top of the hill in Seattle. It seems like no matter how much you slow down you always nail the wall. It took me forever to get the Gold on that license test.

It's not bad once you learn you have to start slowing down really early . . . but I still don't like the corner. At times, I still manage to hit it.

No, I don't. I like Seattle and love Monaco. And I love SS R5, either direction. It's just the combination of lousy lighting, no traction, and blind apexes on every turn of R11 that drives me insane.

Well the reason I hate R11 less now is because I learned to use the pressure sensitivity of the PS2 controller on that track, and I find it very, very helpful. Well that and knowing the track very well helps too. I hate the corner that goes under the bridge or whatever . . . that is a terrible corner. Another track I've learned to be patient with, much like Seattle.

The sole trick is to brake while you have traction... in other words, don't bother braking while the car is flying through the air. ;) Brake while you're on the horizontal part of the hill, and you'll be fine. That's what I do, and now I get it right almost every single time. 👍

Yep, you just have to learn when to brake to take that corner probably. I've actually kinda come to like Seattle after finally learning the layout of the course pretty well.

uber speedway is also for ppl who cant turn.

Yes . . . I can't stand it, I hope PD leaves out Test Course in any kind of race in GT4. SS isn't quite as bad as TC, but it's close. Damn those tracks . . . :banghead: :mad: :banghead: :mad: :banghead: :mad: :banghead: !!!!!

I don't care if they are equal or not . . . it's still left after left after left . . . holding down the throttle, no braking . . . *falls out of chair and into a deep slumber*.
 
IMAGINE DOING THE SS11 ENDURO RACE ! ! !! gah it was ghey ;P Worst corners are corkscrew and laguna seca and test course turns..very boring..
 
the corkscrew is fun... anything that is even a minor challenge is fun....

TC is not fun.... a TC enduro is hideous!!
 
look at my longest run on the test course..I think I fell asleep stll holding the joystick up somehow ;) Woke up and it said 1600+ miles OMG!

The 180 at Minstal doesn't bother me. Thes chicane after the sweeping tunnel pisses me off. You can lose so much time on that two corner pig it isn't funny. I've lost as much as 3 seconds on a lap because of it. Even if you clean it because you're going so slow the time loss is magnifided.

i disagree with that last comment i think super speedway can be quite fun especially if youre drifting round the corners in an 876hp r32 vspec II (did it last nite!:p ) with sim tyres. and at least on super speedway you have to brake for at least one corner unless youve got a seriously underpowered car whereas on TC its just continous (sp?)

I agree, the SS circuit isn't so bad. It can be fun to try and get really consistent lap times and drifting through the entire corner can be satisfying, especially on the old replay:)
 
oh yeah, forgot to add the Last Turn on Laguna Seca..But I learned to master it ;) Just make sure I don't hit the red/white bump or I will go airborne and most likely spinout..
 
I'm not too crazy about Laguna, Monaco is a BIG P.I.T.A! So is Seattle. I don't really mind the roller-derby that is SS11, I try to keep a sense of humor about it.
Oh yeah, NEVER hit the rumble strip at the end of the front straightaway of 246 under heavy braking! It's not pretty!
 
I gotta add my two cents. I don't have any corners that I hate. In fact I love all the corners and courses. I never had much trouble finding the perfect line in all of them. However...This is what gets me. Heading for the pit...

Trial Mnt in reverse, the last turn before the pit is a high speed right hander. You go to fast and you will over shoot the pit, or turn to sharp you will lose a lot of time. I usually wait until my tires just start turning red before I head in. And its's a bugger to make that fast right hander and aim right for the Pit, because it has a stupid angle.

Same with Laguna. The pit is easy to fly into, but it has that Sharp left, and you will be in auto drive, and if you fly in to fast and nail the wall, autodrive will get you stuck on the wall and waste time reversing to get you unstuck. hehe.

But midfield is still my favourite track though :trouble:
 
The only corner or turn that gives me any problem is the corkscrew at Laguna, but only when the moron AI's are right behind me. They never slow down enough for this turn no matter what, and end up slamming into me. This is why I don't like to race on this track with a car that will make it a challenge for me.:D
 
I hate that slow 90 right turn on Midfield Reverse with any fast car. Impossible to take with any throttle without understeering into the grass or spinning out, or else just putter through and lose the best passing opportunity on the course. :irked:
 
My least favorite would have to be the one neon_duke mentioned on SSR11. I can never get a good line throught that corner. My favorites are any turns on Laguna Seca or Monaco.
